Ladies, Do you Wear Makeup?

Discussion in 'Hippies' started by purple gypsy, Dec 16, 2007.

  1. No. Can't be bothered. Don't know how to. With me people take me or leave me as I am. I don't give a shit.

I used to wear make-up a lot. But see, I'm really against the whole...animal testing situation....And practically EVERYTHING tests on animals. So especially in the summer, I hardly ever wear make-up. But I always have my non-animal-tested-on chapstick in my purse. =]

so you'll not wear make up tested on animals but shop in a store that underpays its manufacturing employees in the worst of work conditions?!

those people sign up for the job. if they dont like the conditions, they can quit. none of my buiseness. but yes. animals dont have any choice in the matter. its not like they sign up to have mascara shoved into their eyes and lotion injected under their fur.

I do wear make up. Not every day though. And not a ton of it.

I am a make up artist though. So it's a necessary thing.

Do you know a lot about China? Parents often determine their childrens' futures before they are old enough to make decisions, generally out of necessity.

nope. I own 2 eyeliners, 1 mascara, and a chapstick. I only use them for special occasions, though.
Mostly cuz I can't afford none! There are more important things for a colledge student to buy like textbooks and food.

I have this problem as well. Imagine waking up next to your new man and upon seeing you with out make up for the first time he exclaims "oh my goodness, are you ok, you look sick". Now imagine having this happen not once but three times. :frown:

Because of the dark circles I am never with out my concealer unless I am just sitting around the house.

For awhile I was doing a full on face of make up for a vintage/retro/pin up look. I am so sick of that, too much work.

I have gone back to my simple routine. A lot of people do not even know I wear make up. I think that is the best way, so natural no one knows.

If I did not have the dark circles I would go with out make up!

I do wear makeup I enjoy it but dont consider it a necessity. Also I stick to the vegan and def not tested on animals kind. Mainly I keep it light though just a little eyeliner, mascara and light dusting of powder because I dislike the feeling of my face not being able to breathe due to the caked on layers of makeup.
