It makes no difference whatsoever, unless for example you don't have a car because you've been a lazy son of a bitch all your life. Cars don't matter.

My boyfriend loves his fantasy football, but cars aren't really his thing. occasionally watches a show about them

I'm talking about guys and girls in general. not me and my interest.

guy talk: football, cars, beer, getting laid, hot chicks, beer, getting laid, beer, football, porn, beer.

girl talk: shoes, shopping, dating, feminine stuff, jobs, family, relationships

I have to plan any given trek into shopping hell.
    And I over plan.
Luckily, I mumble, so no one hears what I'm going on about.

And this of course has no connection to cars, malibus, purple or preconceptions, so....
    /hijack. And sorry.

I have zero interest in what kind of car a guy drives .I actually think its a turn off when a guy drives a really nice, expensive car because I don't understand how someone can drop that much money on a hunk of metal.

My boyfriend is really interested in cars and he's currently restoring an older car. I take pretty much zero interest in his car hobby but I respect it as a hobby for him. He isn't into cars for superficial reasons and he doesn't feel the need to put a lot of money into a new car just for social status.

I do tune him out when he starts talking about cars though. I don't really talk about shopping unless I find a really cool thrift store find. This is probably why my boyfriend and I get along - we both like to make something beautiful out of old junk.

also, I did want to add that I do think motorcycles are really hot. I want to learn to ride one though so I don't go through life riding bitch.

By the way, what is so undesirable about a Chevy Malibu?

I don't talk shipping because I don't shop, I do it all online. I have to like travel into München for fun stores and that's just a hassle so online shopping for me. I might chat your ears off about CDs and vinyl I just bought, guys seem to enjoy that though.

    Well a couple things...

It depends on the girl if it matters or not, the ones concerned about status and image and worldliness will care.

Also this is just an educated guess, but I'd go on to say that your local area of where your picking up girls, will increase or decrease your probability in picking up a girl who is the type to care about (status, image, and worldliness).

Also keep in mind that the girls who care about superficiality, are either gold diggers, or are just looking for a good time and are probably in their "wild phase" so if what your cousin is looking for is a real committed relationship rather than just nailing girl after girl...he should probably should rethink who's on his arm and for what reasons.

Most girls I know (friends or love interests alike) have said their fine with everyday cars like the Toyota Prius, Honda Civics and Accords.

Status brands though are the up and coming Tesla brand though.

And there are girls I've met who REALLY are into trucks and are totally auto-smart people, so keep in mind that people have various interests. (and some keep their secret hobbies hidden until they know they can trust you a bit more before they open up)

So..... I'm the only female in this forum that gives a shit about cars, trucks, and motorcycles? Business as usual lol.

Oh, I also like shopping, shoes, football, beer, and getting laid. My gender doesn't dictate my interests. :p

Also: None of these aforementioned things dictate whether or not I'm interested in a man.

it's more your cousin than the mailubu. not saying there's anything wrong with him -- but in the eyes of judgmental women, he's too nice and boring and nice.

"Yeah, trust me, motorbikes are worse. Anybody who rides one of those has a small penis as far as I'm concerned and yeah,..."

I am pretty hung and always ride bikes.
I ride for myself and most women know shit about bikes and a lot of men the same.
Women who like me for who i am and are not into possessions are cool in my book.

^yeah, I don't understand why anyone would lie about an interest. If anything I would think a girl would be more likely to pretend to be into something considered more masculine to come off as the "cool girl" to guys.

I like beer, football, and getting laid. I like motorcycles but I could care less what kind it is. They're all fun.

I do judge a guy based on what kind of beer he drinks, not gonna lie. I lose respect for people who think bud light passes as good beer.

I love fast cars and motorcycles because I was raised around them.... evidenced in the fact that I drive a Mustang Boss 302 and am considering upgrading to a GT 500 :D. I also ride one of Daddy's Harleys and I doubt it is long before I have one.

That being said, I really don't care. If a guy has a nice ride it is an added bonus, and if I would not sleep with a guy who has one, it will certainly not help his case. Nor is an old clunker a deal breaker. That kind of thing is arbitrary, I am either attracted to a person or not.

Now to turn the tables, how much effect does it have on you guys when you find a girl on a bike or with a badass car vs on driving an old pos? :p

First of all, I try NOT to judge a person by the vehicle I happen to see them driving. It might not even be their choice.

When I see a woman on a bike I just wish they wouldn't because motorcycles are so goddamn dangerous.:(

I don't think it looks terribly feminine if a woman is driving a "badass" car as in jacked up muscle cars or giant 4x trucks. I always figure they are driving their beau's rig.

I would rather see a woman in a cute little girly car or a sexy little sports car or a sleek mid-size luxury cruiser
