The Seattle police department did a poor job, they must pay, his murderer must pay and people NEED tt know that just because you fake the suicide of a junkie doesnt mean that you can get away with it like you used to.
The case isn't going to be reopened. Maybe he was murdered, maybe he wasn't. What I've heard makes is sound as if he was, but I haven't researched it at all, because I don't care one way or the other. He's dead. Putting Courtney Love in jail won't do anything about that.
The only thig I think it will do is let people know that faking a junklies suicide isn't that easy and make it more difficult/
There are a lot things that where strange but you know, a lot of werid stuff was found in the case of George Reeves and JFK but you can't worry to much about it since think about it if so the person or persons have got away with it for over ten years, plus even still Kurt was really close to dieing of drugs anyhow so you know, meh it sucks but it was bond to happen you know, sad but true.

The Seattle "grunge" scene was completely independent and had very progressive (if incohesive) views on the world. On one cover of Rolling Stone mag, Kurt had on a shirt that said "Corporate America STILL sucks" or something along those lines. I don't know if he was murdered or not, BUT I certainly would never put it past the government to "off" someone who challenged their corporate dominance, even if only in the music world. Do you think the establishment wants another 60s to happen?? So...I don't know if he was murdered or not, but if he was, I most definitly wouldn't be surprised. Notice how the grunge scene began tapering off only a year or 2 later. Then corporate/conformist hiphop took over in 97' and well, the rest is history and mainstream music has become as homogenized as ever.
