Haha. Then you have more experience than I. I'm not sure Naths still give initiation per se since the breaking of the sect by Dadaji Mahendranath. http://www.religiousworlds.com/mandalam/dadaji.htm
or so a Nath told me. But wtf, these things do seem to go on. Many still claim Nath. I know no Aghori personally so I have nothing to add on that except that it's the ultimate in nonduality and therefore a form of fierce confrontation of dualities and maybe not for householders who have any materialistic pretentions.

I read an article once that the main sect split into two. I just looked for it but since the advent of wikipedia I simply cannot find the original article for too many specious references.

Alright so the whole thought of kundalini is very interesting to me, however, this part from wikipedia kind of spooked me a bit Sensory symptoms are said to include subjective changes in body temperature (feelings of heat or cold), a feeling of electricity in the body, persistent sexual arousal syndrome (vd. Gopi Krishna and Irina Tweedie's books), headache and pressure inside of the head, tingling, vibrations and gastro-intestinal problems. Cognitive and affective symptoms are said to include psychological upheaval, stress, depression, depersonalization or derealization, intense mood-swings

thats a huge list of bad things, not to mention any one of those is bad in itself, and t he wiki said all practicioners experiance one or more of these to some extent.

Anyone got any re-assureance or extra info about this?

kundalini yoga is just one of the forceful ways to awaken kundalini.

any form of spiritual internal concentration can unlease it in my experience.

if you meditate every day in any form for long period i am sure it will eventually awaken in anyone regardless of faith etc.

facts are nobody really knows what kundalini is imo, some people think it's the same thing as the holy ghost.

alot of the accounts of the holg ghost entering someone in the bible sounds just like a kundalini awakening.

I had a great book before 'Sadhus of India' which had a breakdown of hundreds of sects unfortunately Thai Airways lost the bag it was in :( There are still some Nath ashrams as far as I know, one in Hardidwar for definite. I think the Naths were founded by the guru of Gorakhnath who was an Ahgori. It's all very confusing, even alot of the Indians can never be 100% there are always a few contradictory stories.

what do you mean the wrong tube?

do you think the fact that I had a kundalini experience starting from left side (and the flowing to th center of chest thru the neck ... ans stop at the noze) could have installed imbalance that would still be there?

I had a lot of luck after this experience, but now this time is over, and I feel like I'm an example of unluckyness.

what's the trouble with energy flowing down?
