omfg i watch this every day...the one where bobby gets "chip" the dummy and like freaking dale goes insane and hahahhaha and he steals hima nd bobby runs in and is like chips gone, and theres signs of a stuggle AHAHAHHAHA cause chips like a fucking udmmy right?! hahahah dude i laughed for like an hour and i love jesus cause i am jesus
Great show. I love the one where Boomhauer passes out while floating down the river and floats into Houston. No one can understand him and he's running around in a speedo, so they put him in the mental institution. Bill, and Dale end up getting comitted too when they try to get him out. Dale is fucking hilarious. It's such a great show because it's pretty true. There are really people like the ones on the show.
The one where they meet Willie Nelson is funny too, when Boomhower meets Bob Dylan, and they're talking to each other. It was soooo hilarious!
Ahhh yes, King of the Hill, every episode ends with their proablems being solved and every character being happier than before. Yes there isn't a more uplifting show on tv.
i'd say if u do then it's not funny.... this show is all about low-key comedy, ie. Facial expressions, voice tones, and stereotypes, thats what makes it so fuckin funny definatly in the top 5 of my fav animated cartoons
lol kif about the crack one! i love king of the hill. my fave though is when bobby falls in love with luanns "head" that she brings home from beauty school and takes it on the swing and stuff. god i love that show! helps that i am from texas too and can REALLY appreciate it - especially boomhauers mumble...i know people like that!
If I don't achieve my dreams, I hope I fall back into an "Arlen" type of community. They make life seem so enjoyable and easygoing, even though they don't do much.
I know rednecks, hell I am one and find it hilarious..... I think that breaks your theory..... duct tape?
The episode where Dales dad is in a gay rodeo was pretty good too. I couldnt stop laughing at that episode, but I wasnt laughing as hard as the crack rock fishing expedition. Oh, and the one where Bobby and whats-her-name get drunk in the bouncy thing in Bills yard becasue he let that dude move in, and he feeds them some 40's. That was another good one.
I always liked 'KOTH' too, but the last episode I saw with the hippies reminded me that it's pretty tame in comparison with other animated shows. I mean taking shots at hippies for being 'lazy' isn't exactly cutting edge. They coulda come up with a better ending than reinforcing stereotypes. And some of the endings seem pretty forced and unimaginative. I will admitt, it's a Texas thing though (gasp..did I just SAY that?)...just like 'Beavis and Butthead' had characters straight outta my past...(i.e. the 'hippie teacher' and the agro-throaty coach) All in all it's about as entertaining as Beavis and Butthead. Which is to say...not much. IMO
I dont think specifically cause in Beavis and Butthead their neighbors are older...but I think Mike Judge just took those two characters he created and did the King of the hill thing but made them younger...dont know though... Dale and Bobby are my favorite...
How about when hank and bobby enter a rose growing compatition and get sponsored by a hippie bong shop because hank thinks its a high quality vase store. The two stoners were hallarious!!! There was a scene where they were buggin out looking at hank. I find the greatest thing about the show is how consistent it is with running gags and ongoing stereotypes."hwhat" has kept me laughing for 5 years and counting.
