since we're on the topic of kfc, I just had some myself the other and I'll tell you what though it was awesome!
IMHO I think it is because PETA want the world to become vegans - and they use a lot of propoganda to further that agenda. I do support some of the things PETA do - but some of it is just propoganda to further their ultimate goal. The biggest animal rights group around [i think] are the RSPCA and goverment employees in charge of animal welfare - but they are not really ''rock and roll'' are they ? neither do they wish for us all to become vegan. So yeah i imagine - because PETA have a big mouth they may seem quite big - but are they really ?. I do not know. According to them they have 1.6 million members .
I've heard of this kind of treatment toward the animals. A girl at my school last year actually did a presentation on this and the response was disgusting. Many of them thought it was funny and were too fucking closed minded to see past their stomachs. Morons. I hope they break their legs painfully and as a result of it, realise that killing animals in such a way is wrong... Heh, as if that will ever happen...
Peta are full of shit and would prefer to see humans suffer rather than animals - the animal rights movement outside of the rspca is stuffed full of the fucking loonatics that were too far gone to be of use to anarchists or communists The vegans and vegetarians that are so political they go around committing criminal acts should actually just realise for one minute that they have become insane and that when in britain you get the ALF etc planting bombs and hassling employees of medical companies etc thats where they should be locked up in mental institutions for life.
sounds alot like my class in school. I don't understand why anyone would think a serious issue like animal abuse is funny. sometimes i think i'm the only caring and compasionate one there.
So I wonder who are we supposed to believe? Who isn't saying they support one thing while under the table doing the opposite? Is the CCF wrong with it's petakillsanimals.com? Is PETA wrong? Are they both wrong? I am not even sure where to begin (I have one link thanks to drumminmamma) so I have a lot of research to do to see who is telling the truth....it's exhausting. I think all you have to weigh up is Unfortunately for PETA, Virginia's Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) requires every "humane society" in the state (including PETA) to file an "Animal Record" report each year, specifying the number of animals it cared for and the number it killed. VDACS figures from previous years show that PETA has killed over 14,400 dogs and cats, racking up a four-figure body count -- and a 90 percent kill rate -- in 2005 alone. But PETA's report for 2006, due on March 31, is still missing in action. That is a FACT. You will just have to think about if they are hypocrites or not. I'm sure they will say the animals that they send to die - die humanely. Imho they should give the animals to the RSPCA or the equivilant. Then no political point scoring can be made towards peta.
at one point PETA answered that accusation. and it was along the lines of adoptible or foster anals go out the rest ar edestroyed (breed restrictions, advanced illness, inability to resocialize, too badly injured. Sine I was unaware they did anything with adoption/ pet rescue, I have no opinion on this. With CCF, their motivation and reason for existence is to promote the views of an industry. It's be like taking Walmart as the voice of independent record sellers. they are not credible sources.
