You're a few years too late. This has been our politics for awhile now.

Gosh you mean you will be even more mad that the left is losing ground? What is this hell you describe will happen?

Sorry if this is out of line to post this here, but I thought it couldnt hurt to bring a bit of levity to the thread. SNL is hit or miss these days but this hit it out of the park, fucking hilarious.

I can find comedy in parity. The picture of Sessions looking like a turtle was hilarious. I also found a picture of Obama resembling a chimp hilarious. But that makes me racist. So i have to boycott humor that's is only supposed to be funny if someone tells me it is allowed to be.

Yeah there's always these undisclosed sources not at liberty to discuss it, yet chose to to provide anonymous discussions.

Not just one to support one sided evidence, but yet others that state something to the contrary to the other.

Fake News. The media.needs to overhaul itself along with our governments ability to hire reliable employees that don't provide unauthorized communications.

Something tells me that people will still be divided when the investigation is over. It comes down to perception, and opinion, eventually.

I personally think Kavenaugh is trying to hide a drinking problem.

The way he launched into the drinking questioning sort of made me red flag that.

But that isn't the matter he is being accused of. Perhaps they can morph that into a lie. But he feels he doesn't drink excessively. He isn't lying. He honestly feels that way.

    The guys a drunken fool

Brett Kavanaugh's former Yale University classmates is accusing him of propagating a “blatant mischaracterization” of his college drinking habits before the Senate Judiciary Committee, according to multiple reports.

Charles "Chad" Ludington, a North Carolina State University associate professor who used to interact with Kavanaugh while the two were at Yale, the judge had been untruthful when he told the panel last week he had never "blacked out" because he frequently saw Kavanaugh “staggering from alcohol consumption.”

"When Brett got drunk, he was often belligerent and aggressive," Ludington said in a statement to the Washington Post. "On one of the last occasions I purposely socialized with Brett, I witnessed him respond to a semi-hostile remark, not by defusing the situation, but by throwing his beer in the man’s face and starting a fight that ended with one of our mutual friends in jail."

I really don't think there's a conspiracy to dilute sexual abuse stories in Hollywood. You don't think it's a good thing to highlight that this is a societal problem and isn't just confined to movie stars?

If you know it's so hard to come forward then why are you so skeptical about the stories? We know the polygraph shows Ford is telling the truth... so why would it be difficult to believe that others are as well? It would definitely seem to fit his profile...

The media was reporting stories on Hollywood's sex abuses. The public was catching on and growing aware. So Hollywood had to get the public to turn their heads the other way as it would cost them millions in lost profits for film revenue. So they used the Me Too movement to conflate sexual harassment, sexual assault, and relatively harmless awkward approaches under the same umbrella. And they were quite successful at taking getting rid of the heat from the public.

Ted Bundy passed a polygraph too. Was he innocent? It seems odd that she'd wait all this time to come forward at this very moment, after Kav has had such a long and lucrative career as a judge when she could have sabotaged him a long time ago. But who knows, right? Lets suppose she's telling the truth, and maybe she actually knew in hindsight all these years that he'd make it this close to being a Supreme Court judge, so she can really come out of the woodwork at the last minute and bring him down.

If this was a criminal trial what would have been the charge and penalty?

In Maryland felony sex crimes have no statute of limitations, so he could be prosecuted although the victim would need someone else to corroborate her statement, but In Connecticut, where the other two alleged crimes took place, the statute of limitations is five years so he’s safe from prosecution.

Ford said “while his friend watched, Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it. When she tried to scream, she said, he put his hand over her mouth. “I thought he might inadvertently kill me,” “He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing.

Third Degree Sexual Assault would be the likely charge but getting a conviction without more evidence is highly unlikely.
