Just got dreads a week ago. Help?

    I wouldn't touch them so much considering that the hair has been bleached and is more delicate. And yes, hair shrinking is VERY normal. Guess you didn't research dreads much?! Good news is that since your hair is pretty short to begin with there's not much room to shrink.

    p.s. they look so cute! Early-backcombed dreads usually look so silly to me, but they suit you!

    worried because people think you are too lazy to bleach your roots? wait till they find out that you dont even brush your hair! ha!

    I did do a lot of research, but I'm rubbis wot computers and most of the things I was coming accross seemed to be adverts for wax or whatever, telling me all the wrong things. Then after I got them backcombed I ofund this gem of a web-site (someone told me about it).

    It' not that I htink people will think I'm lazy, just that it'll look odd.

    According to some folk, my hair looked it's wickedest when i had about an inch or more of dark roots. You might be surprized. :)

    odd? odd things are awesome
    youd look amazing with dark dreads with lught tips
    youd look amazing with facial tattoos and a lip disk
    im not saying you sghould, i think u do look better like you are im just saying your beautidful you can pull off odd and make odd look good
