When pictures like that are posted back to back it really makes you appreciate how worldly this forum is, looks like fun for both of you

It was more of a choice, I usually live in nature in summer when possible for longer times, without tent but then I wanted to make the experience of "survival" in a town whats that like. It was very interesting but in the end I got stomach problems because of the stress always hiding from police and the cold. In march I went indoors again.

mostly flea marked or junk sale I think it is called in english, no wage. I also make music on the street or sell artwork on the street, I gather minerals and crystals and sell them. And lots of other stuff like that. Now I work on the farm again.

I really want to put up a contrasting photo of Australia, against that last Switzerland photo but I haven't been anywhere interesting for a few weeks. Too busy studying and working for the man :( It's up to you, Cam.

Very nice pics by the way, Midgardsun!

Are these your photos? Such lovely places.

I'm really quite interested in how you were living, seems quite great. Did you normally stay in one spot for long periods of time, or changed quite often? Were they normally somewhere like the cavey looking place (which I'm assuming was further away from a town) or like in the snow in the first picture, in amongst towns and people?

Thanx, I spent a lot of time traveling around mostly in Switzerland and I stayed in different alternative communities. In summer I spent up to several months in nice places in nature, mostly at some lake beach. I always stay at places where a (natural) shelter is close by since it rains frequently here.
The cave on the pics is actually very close to a town, it was formed by a giant rock slide in 19th century when the entire flanc of a mountain came down crushing several villages which was one of the biggest catastrophies of all times in Switzerland, there are stones as big as houses scattered around and under them there is sometimes nice place to shelter from bad weather. This one winter in a town on the street was the exception and it was way harder than staying in nature in summer.
The problem about the Alpes is that it is difficult to find a place where you can stay for a longer time in nature without being bothered by farmers, police, hunters or other people, such places are rare but Swiss people are in general very peaceful and tolerant.

Whoop! They remind me of my own. The thing furthest to the right looks like a ball of dread that isn't attached....
