If you are so concerned with other peoples image, then you're no better than the people who have a go at you for being a hippie. Think about your own image before thinking about others.
everyone here has great ideas. who am i to say that they are not real hippies, i can not read their minds as to how they think or i do not know what they are up to in their free time. dont judge people b what they wear-how many times have we all heard that before?
you are blatantly opposite of "hippie" for stating what is blatantly opposite of being "hippie"... and i am blatantly opposite of "hippie" for stating that you are blatantly opposite of being "hippie"
don't get it... how so? cool folks have always a "look" an example of oxymoron would be bourgeois boho chic
giving people a good hug has become b.s.? man, i've gotta check in on the latest hippie chic if its no longer cool to give a hug
hahah thats actaully funny :] I love how some people try to make things styles that are more of a way of life... but whatever don't let it get to you... its most likley just a phase.. :]
They said that in '67. I think it must be a neo-hippie thing that the kids seem to think it's a religion, where as it started out as a fashion statement: alot of people became hippies because it was fashionable. It was the fashion of the time.
"Bohemian" is a person with real or pretended artistic or intellectual aspirations that lives and acts with disregard for conventional rules of behavior. Also a gypsy, or person from Bohemia etc. So, bohemian chic could be a person who was one of the above, who had lots of money to spend on trying to "look the part", but was a pretender and more into being stylish.
Wear whatever the hell you want, and don't put so much thought into what others are wearing. I wear what I want, and I don't care what people call me. Just as long as I'm comfortable.
i wear wat i find on the ground, sometimes the ground charges me, but its usually free...wat does that make me, a concienciousness shopper i think... i frigging hate stylish dressers though, or anyone that ever mentions wat im wearing in a negative light... if u dont have anything nice to say, dont say it at all, is all im saying
hey now, I'm pretty stylish and my collection is odds and ends: it's all in how you slap it together! I take heart that each time hippie chic comes back, it means i can get a neat skirt from the thrift in a few months.
i meant no offense... if u can be stylish without all the fuss most people go through, kickass for u. some people r just entirely to anal about it. like its the end of there life if they look a little silly, or if someone doesnt like what there wearing. but especially if wat there wearing doesnt match someones criteria of wat they should dress like.
