There is a book I want about germs..... let me see if I can find the name of it. Seeing as I am a cell and molecular biology major I get tired of reading non-fiction books like that but I could expand into some history.
Wow, I think you'd pretty much have to be a cell/molecular biologist to have a desire to read up on that. Hell, more power to you! What are you going to do with your degree?
Actually research, funny thing is today I got offered a job at a semi big-wig place that deals with stem cells, and dendritic research.... I was thinking of med school longer down the road but I kind of want to see where this job might take me.
You'll be part of the next big thing, then. Is the job based in the states or elsewhere? I read something the other day about South Korea and its stem cell interests.
In the states, it started at the University of Michigan and then they moved to Domino Farms business buildings. They successfully got some dendritic stem cells to rehabilitated a semi-paraplegic to walk again. Alot of the research is done overseas in other countries.
Wow. You see now that is the real shit. I tell people I do (did now, I guess, FUCK FUCK SHIT FUCK) philosophy and they automatically associate it with a good brain. But philosophy has nothing on science. I really admire what you're doing hiro. That is, as long as you don't suck at it.
Well I haven't started just yet. But I am excited. Thanks Mike. I admire people who can handle the mental capacity to fully deal with philosophy (took a course in it once, needless to say it wasn't that enjoyable because of my teacher). What happened to the whole philosophy thing, or should I not ask?
