Estonia is a very pretty country, from the few few things I remember from it. I remember seeing some beautiful horses and forests there.
I probably wouldn't feel this much negativity towards it if I hadn't lived in Spain for two years. But I did. The nature's cool if you're a nature person but I'm not. There's like.. ticks and snakes and shit there.
i said here in georgia.. i dunno about other states,,hell i dont even know about other towns in my state,, but here where i live..
Actually, I'm on a civil case. A lawsuit. And not a frivolous one, either. 10 people died. I'm smart enough to get out of jury duty, I'm just too honest to act crazy or stupid. Here they won't take people who would have an economic hardship, so if you don't get paid (assuming you work), you're out. I get paid. It's all govenment employees and retired people on long jury trials.
Hehe, you don't have to be crazy or stupid to get out of jury duty. Just overly opinionated and hard-headed. That's how I got out.
I figured it was a civil case, those sometimes take a long time. Me? I love freakin jury duty. I always get excited when I get that little white notice in the mail. This year I actually got called up to be questioned by the DA, attorney's and such. it was an exciting case, grandparents took their grandson and hid him out for years. Grandparents had a guardianship, they felt the kid was in danger from their drug addict mom. anywho. I work for an attorney and the main cases we take are family law and criminal defense. I knew I wouldnt get picked as I personally know both of the defense attorneys, along with their investigator and probaby about half of their witnesses. Not to account for the fact that I sorta kinda know a little about finding loop holes in the DA's evidence and police reports. It was funny tho, because of course the defense wanted to pick me because I was familiar with criminal law and family law. The DA didnt like me to much and tried to base their dislike of me on that it was a financial burden for me, thats ok, the judge who I also know, informed the DA that he knew my boss and would order him to pay me double if he had too. what was really funny was when the Judge asked me. Ms.Skinner, how long do you really think you are going to be here on a case of this type..I was honest and said "your honor if I were forced to guess, I would say not very long" he of course agreed with me and we both were right. I am sure I would get picked on a civil case as that is not what our law firm practices but hell those are hella boring.
