I totally support the decision that was made regarding this vehicle. This is not a case of someone just dying in a vehicle and the public would not be aware of this if it were to be resold on the open market. What type of unbalanced people would be interested in this vehicle? The same ones who will purchase any trinkets from those who are serial killers. The case is very visible and so is anything connected to it. The correct decision was made in my opinion.
my actual opinion is that everything he owns should be transferred to his wife if he wasnt married Id say give all his possesions to the victims fund but the government probably owns the truck now anyways since they usually confiscate vehicles that are used in crimes
Watch out for the number seven. It's unlucky. Paint your south wall red to keep the evil eye out. Be careful of people who are left handed. Evil growing in the East -- the bad hand reaches out... You guys are on a roll. Excuse me while I set the wards to keep the evil One out tonight...
You appear to be concerned with the spooky side of this, I am not. Rather infantile. This became the property of the government when he was apprehended, it was destroyed by order of the court. The people who collect memorabilia of killers are those who would be interested in this type of property. No one should profit from the sale of this property. I would not wish that on any of the families to have to deal with. They are already dealing with enough.
This is already being looked into as it appears that he transfered property into his wifes name just before he was apprehended.
You sure do seem rather concerned about the opinions of others, reflecting on how you respond to them. I would imagine that if my opinion or that of others was as insignificant as you claim, you wouldn't respond like you have. Which, in my opinion, is very much like what a 7 year old would say. Besides I wouldn't own a Toyta Tercel. I prefer Nissans and GMCs.
"Hello, Ghostbusters?" "This is Ghostbusters, Lurch speaking." "Mr. Lurch, my name is Dirty Dog. I recently bought that truck used in the Belleville murders, and I think it's got a ghost." "How do you know it's the same truck?" "The police told me. I gave one of them a $49.99 Tim Horton's gift certificate and he gave me the VIN number. The truck is a Nissan Pathfinder and the VIN matches." "What police force was this?" "I'm not at liberty to say that, Mr. Lurch. Libel laws, you know." "And this ghost, how does it manifest itself?" "Well, there's this blue aura around the alternator, sometimes around the fan blades. And when I shine a strobe light on the fan blades I can see the victim's face." "Sounds like you might have a Class 2 Phantasm, Mr. Dog. The victim's spirit chose not to stay with the body when it was put in the woods, or with the hearse the police sent for it?" "Evidently." "And you want it exorcised?" "Yes." "Why not keep the Class 2 Phantasm, and set up a paid interview with the Weekly World Star and the Toronto Sun? You can get rich on this, you know. Have you taken the Nissan home yet?" "Yes." "Bad choice. The Phantasm could get into your house, or maybe just take over your power lawnmower. Our fee is $15,000 for an exorcism. I suggest you act promptly, but that's up to you." "Oh thanks, this is wonderful, I'll pay you right away to get rid of this! I just hate ghosts." "No problem, and we can always use new business. Who recommended us, by the way?" "Just some friends at Hip Forums."
