Why is that a bad thing? Johnny Cash is probably one of the most respect muscians of second half of the 20th century.
i love shel silverstein. i have that book "a light in the attic" and i have it practically memorized. the book pages are falling out from being opened and closed so many times. my favorite song right now is probably cocaine blues. but that's only since i saw "walk the line". fantastic movie by the way. my favorite johnny cash song kind of changes depending on what's going on with me. but i always have one. that's what i like about him.
Cash's version of "Rusty Cage" is pretty amazing, but my fav Cash song is Kristofersons "Sunday Morning Coming Down". Now that is a song sung from the heart!
That is one of my fav's as well. Nice car ridin' song. Long black veil is pretty awesome too. I can't really pick a favorite. He was just amazing.
was never a big johnny cash fan.. BUT my 3yr old LOVES!! him. she loves "ring of fire" she knows all the words and gets all crazy whenever we play it for her. my son shares his birthday with johnny cash too www.johnnycash.com has audio so we can listen to johnny non-stop
I was able to get 20 albums of his for free a few weeks ago. In my opinion, not just a musician, but also a great lyricist. Not many people can still write like he did.
I love Johnny Cash. It's something I have in common with my Gran My favourite song is probably "Jackson", sung with June Carter.
Ha, I just saw that movie two days ago. Blew me away! I think Phoenix did a superb job playing Johnny Cash's songs. Especially Get rhythm, I think I prefer that one even above the original and Cocaine blues. But he did the other songs very well too. Haha, I also loved that guy who played Jerry Lee Lewis
I use to be big into country music untill I started listening to others and found that country isnt as good as it use to be wayyyyyyyyy back when, but Johnny Cash is pretty good. Even have him tattooed on my arm....
