Wow, what a way to start a thread. You guys are intence. It's funny how some of that hate comes back to bite you on the ass. I would agree that I am not impressed with McCain but Obama is not quite there for me either. I have respect for both of them in different ways. I have to first of all say that Obama has to be given props for being the first black man to get this far, not to mention Hillary as well, first woman. That to me is cool and you have to respect that. As for McCain well he is an old white dude that was in a Vietnam Prison camp for what was it 6 years or six months I don't remember. Either way this guy has been in government for a very long time and someone had to vote for him. The polls are very close and both of them are going to make a close race. I personally have not made up my decision by I am trying to keep an open mind. My only suggestion to everyone is go out and vote. It does make a difference.

I won't disagree. I don't know how anyone can possibly do even half of the stuff these guys promise us. I was watching Hillary last night and I was thinking to myself, if I had any confidence in these people I would vote for them right now. It would be a better world if they could only make half the changes they want to make but most of it will never happen and is a pipe dream. I agree they do lie, I hate all politicians myself but I have to have some faith in the system, if a least a little otherwise I would just sit in a corner with my thumb in my mouth all day. I hate the fact that we only have two real choices. That people even have to take sides at all but that is our system and it's not going to change anytime soon.

All I have to say is that we have to do our best to hold our government responsible. Good luck man. Keep the hope alive and try to be positive, I know it is hard, we just have to try.

john mccaine sucks. once lieberman isnt there to whiser the truth into his ear i hope people will realize just how stupid and full of shit he is. i personally very much so enjoy barack and what he has to say, and even believe he is the real deal. fucking sucks i can vote though. why can somebody whos over 18 choose not to vote and somebodies whos younger but still wants to vote, cant. stupid, but o well.

and ur not, saying exactly the same thing u and pressed rat and all the other anti government people always say? just cause i didnt write the sentance "a house divided cannot stand" doesnt make it any less true. while barack is definitly not the best candidate for the job, he is definitly better than any of the alternatives i have seen (besides kucinich, but he left the race long ago) and i also believe him to be the smartest. o and haha im not trying to start a fight with u or anything, cause forum fights are amoung the lamest things ive ever seen.
