hey, i havent come back to this post for a while, i havent been on the computer. anyways, i want to thank you all so much, you have been a HUGE help, i love you all. I dont think i will be working at a gas station, i dont really want to be stabbed at 1:30 am, but a pizza place sounds amazing. i never thought about how much is going on back there while im waiting for my pizza to get served.

oh, and whats a bus boy? any other suggestions are helpful though too.

    thanks, i love you all
    peace

Hey, don't get discouraged. It takes a while sometimes. Trust me. I work for an internet company, and I worked there right after highschool. It's been a few years now, but I've been with them for overall about 1.5 years. I think it's good to stay with one company. But really, try to find a job you'll like. It's important. Good luck, keep us informed.

At a restaurant the bus boy is the one who clears the table for the waiter or waitress. I am thinking that you would fit right in at a restaurant. Busboy will give you the best path towars good money. While working in the back of a Pizza place will eventually get you a driver's position (about $15-$20 after taxes per hour).

I personally think that everyone should be required to work in a restaurant for at least one year

My last boss was a the Director of Operations for an IT company. He said the exact same thing that you did! Actually that;s about the only reason that he hired me. We were both x-restaurant guys.
