thats bullshit. maybe a ton of people don't like their jobs, but theres no reason you have to dislike it. people like to bitch and moan about their job instead of finding something they like. now if you are bound by responsibilities, sometimes you must sacrafice your desires and work in a job you hate....to support a family for instance. an unskilled/uneducated worker with kids to feed MAY end up needing to make some sacrafices in the job area in order to get by. but that doesnt mean that even someone like this has to dislike their job. not every job is great, but there are plenty of good ones out there, you just have to try and find what would be fun for you. i work in a coffeeshop. i make shit money. but i love what i do and i look forward to going to work more often than not. and i even stop in often when i'm not working. i can't remember the last day i didnt stop in...unless i was out of town, of course.
Sorry...PEDALS in the engine. Ya know...gas, break, clutch? You know what I'm talking about or am I talking to a brick wall here?
Physical strength and physical labor are two totally different things...not sure if you were aware of that. I could never work as a construction worker, carrying things up to 200lbs! Yet, I don't mind running around and keeping busy. I used to walk 35 miles a week at my old job.
I couldn't do anything that involves entering confined spaces. I also don't like driving much. I actually do work in an office, in a cube-it's not so bad. I wear jeans, have a tree full of birds outside, and pretty much decide what work I want to do and when to do it. The hours and pay are great. What's so bad about that?
How about wasted humans? Oh that's a bartender. I would also have to shun any job associated with poo. Except for maybe collecting mushrooms. I have a weak stomach for bad smells of any kind.
i love dealing with wasted humans i love bartending immensely that still requires physical strength and endurance
jobs that require exposure to toxic chemicals tops my list. jobs that require killing/injuring innocent people are right up there with it. jobs that require following orders without question. jobs that require being away from my son. jobs that require meaningless, mindless, repetitious, pointless work. jobs that require kissing ass.
i'm not saying you can't enjoy your job. the post that i was responding to said "I don't want any job that isn't creative and especially any where I don't get to do what ever I want." my point was, nobody is going to pay you to go around and do whatever you want, unless you're paris hilton
