Exactly. I usually end up in New Orleans passed out in bar bathrooms on Bourbon Street on those days. There ain't no tellin' WHAT HAPPENS then. lol, but it's all fun and games. I enjoy being who I am.
Really? I love Dan Brown's writing. Angels & Demons was better than Da Vinci Code, by any means, though. Pretty intense and toe curling.
You may be mistaking my face with my penis. But yeah, I read that damn Dan Brown book in a day, and tossed it out my window into the street. I think that some bum picked it up. I should have burned that damn thing.
i read angels and demons and the da vinci code. i thought they were mostly decent. i was also 14. they were really just extremely pretentious, full of errors... and the endings disappointed the shit out of me. siddhartha is so simple and timeless and perfect. truly enlightening...
My mom made me read Angels & Demons a while after I read the Da Vinci Code... promising that it's better. Needless to say... I no longer take book recommendations from my mother. People start reading shit when they get old and have already read everything that's good. My stepfather, an extremely intelligent man, is reading Tom Clancy books out of having nothing else left to read.
Siddhartha is definitely better than any of Dan Brown's, I will admit. Also, I really dig Kahlil Gibran, too. The Prophet and Jesus, The Son Of Man. The latter is particularly great.
At least nobody claims that Tom Clancey is literature. Although, I did enjoy the church's reaction to the movies. Anything that pisses of catholics I find endearing. Like butt sex.
no shit! my meager knowledge of the language has changed my understanding of english (and reality) immensely.
I had to read Dan Brown for school, during my senior year in high school. Had it not been for that, I probably would have never picked up any of his books. Except for maybe Da Vinci Code, since I have a light obsession with Da Vinci anyways. Not so much anymore, but I did when I was 15 and 16. I forget why now, lol. Tom Clancy? Ew. I feel bad for him. I send him my condolences.
"The Prophet" was alright, but I really couldn't get into his work. Kind of reminded me of Coelho, whom I cannot stand.
he may not be looking hard enough. i'd rather read ayn rand than tom clancy. that's saying something.
It sucks that they made you read that shit in high school. I've read practically every book I've hard to read in high school before I took the class, so it made my AP classes extremely easy. My stepdad also reads O'Reilly books.....
I know, right. I wish there was a way to learn things quickly and easily. If so, I'd be learning twelve other languages right now.
