LOL Good Lord. Never seen or heard of this bear called Jeremy.

It makes me think of a video his friends made of him tho - telling a story on the fly at a summer camp in Maine last year. He's done this sort of thing since he was like two years old - making up stories on the fly. He even stops at various points in the story to ask for "help" from the kids at the camp - and then continues the story based on whichever responses he chooses to go with. The kids just love it.

So...I am currently "trying" to watch a movie called Open Water. It's a little tedious, to be honest. I may need a different movie to help me sleep.

 

May I suggest Disney's "Lady and The Tramp". Good God, I slept to that thing everyday when my son was little and I was pregnant with my daughter. The absolute best sleeping movie of all time.

I was talking to someone earlier about brushing my little girls' hair years ago. I learned a lot about brushing hair. Start at the ends and work up, hold onto the hair so it doesn't pull, and pray a lot for mercy.

Actually the best movie to fall asleep with is one that really holds my attention - cuz then I won't be tempted to come post comment on HF instead of just passing out with the movie still going.

 

Speaking of brushing hair, I used to make a joke about rats in the hair. I would talk about rats my little girls' hair, and then I would say that actually I was finding some cats and dogs and - lordy - here's a stinking elephant...

 

I think I brush knots out that are the equivalent to elephants everytime I brush my hair.

my laptop just left for the samsung repair and warranty department..i asked the driver to tell the ware house guys to please drive over it with the forklift...he actually said ''that wont be a problem''

that way they will never know both me and my son dropped it a few times

 

Yeah I brushed out whole jungles full of critters. I could spend a half hour brushing one girl's hair if it was really bad - patiently pulling apart the tangles so as not to break the hair or hurt the girl.

It was a lot of work sometimes, but I look back on it fondly now.

Damn...I need to get ME some of that kinda sleep.

 

We didn't get much snow, I can use the leaf blower to blow it off the deck...

I watched the movie "Prometheus" yesterday. Didn't like how it ended.

My old laptop is serving as a paperweight - keeps the fan on my bed from blowing away the pile of papers on the shelf next to the bed.

 

i made a strawberry coconut smoothie and some stir fry cabbage, mustard greens, and mushrooms with oyster sauce. its really good. have a pint of pbr to go with it too. heading a little ways up to the north ga mtns this evening for a weekend with the mountain bike team. we're going to ride and talk about the upcoming season.

 

been snowing all day and last night since about 12:00

 

I ate some fancy cheeses at a celebration today, and now my fingers smell like penicillin mold.

 

mmm moldy fingers...my favorite!

Took our dog to the vet yesterday for an ear infection...my vet told us he's "too wide." Don't understand what that means because he's not fat at all...just "wide" I guess.

Time to put him in the crusher!
