I am gaining like mad and my advice to you Auten... is that you buy some bigger but not to much. Then when you need pregnancy clothes... again buy bigger and don't buy too much.

I was a medium before getting pregnant and now I am buying some pregnancy clothes that are large to grow into. I was also given a lot of clothes! Also my mom bought me a ton of regular big clothes to wear and then wear again after the baby is born!

 

I'll do that. I went to a maternity store to check out what they had and I dont think there was one thing that I would want to wear, but Im sure in some other stores they have nicer ones.

I'm thinking of buying big roomy shirt and sweaters. There's a couple at Express that I like and can work for when I have a bigger belly.

One cool thing that I saw at a maternity store was some kind of band that you put above your pants when they dont fit anymore.



This, did any of you used this? It looks cool. My pants still fit, but that's a good idea for when they dont fit anymore, you can still wear them without buttoning them and you put that band above them. They had it in black, beige and white.

Yeah, I wouldnt even be buying clothes now if it wasnt for work and their stupid, all your jeans have to be Express. Jeans is the one thing I wear the most, but I have none of them and a bunch of other stupid dress code rules.

 

congrats Jer, it might have mostly to do with that abcessed tooth you had and you not being able to eat..

My sister just wore her regular pants and put a rubberband through the button hole and hooked it on the button. and wore big shirts to cover the belly and zipper. Works too, i couldnt tell.

 

You have to wear their jeans? DUMB! I would try the band then.



They are super comfortable... and weren't that expensive! Honestly these are my favorite pants next to my stretch legging capris!

 

Yes, it's super dumb. I dont even think I like their jeans. I tried them on, they were ok. Their pants I like. In the store I went the band thing was like 17 dollars.
