shit costing more than you have figured.. not being able to find a place in your price range.. getting sick and not being able to work.. food and gas costing more than you figured

my income looks .. okay on paper.. looks like i could work with it.. but nope.. it's not enough when it comes down to it

I don't know how you plan on living on $6.50 a day for food, but trust me when I say that will not be enough. Plus there's always stuff you have to buy for the apartment. And I don't think that cheap rent will include utilites. And what about a phone? And going out? That's gets expensive out there. To really live, you should be only spending half of a months pay on rent. And even then you will probably be living pay check to pay check. But I do wish you the best of luck. Just be sure to be reasonable and honest with your budget...

Then how come I see all these people with houses and cars and shit like that? They can't all have big time jobs because I see people working as shelf stockers, waiters, cashiers, ect. all over the place. What other choice do I have?

most people .. YES most people i know that have all those nice things... are paying an arm and a leg on credit card bills for them. i refuse to have a credit card. i know 3 people in just the past 6 months that have declared backrupcy.

other people i know have good educations and have worked many years to get what they have.

i don't understans this california easy living fantasy a lot of people have. probably because i've lived here all my life and can't seem to make ends meet.

I forgot your entire situation but can you live at home and work while you save up some money first? Give yourself like 2 years of savings and then go out there. It might not be as romantic, but it's a lot more realistic.

No way man, my parents are no good. Let's forget California. What about Florida, or Texas or something like that.

I'll move just about anywhere in the south. Large cities are prefered. Why do the northern people get discussed with Florida?

I've thought about Tennesse. It seems that they have some low cost apartments there, and forests.

That sounds a lot more realistic. I could see your budget working there. Again, not as romantic as California, but much more realistic.

I was in Pensicola for a few days a few weeks ago. It seemed nice, but there wasn't much downtown. The weather was great. It hadn't rained in over a month.
