You're people are just too friendly and similar to the US to invade. And you're oils delicious while Canada not a backward despotism like Nigeria or Sadui Arabia.
the world revolves around a oblong circle,, as it would seem we do as well.. itll turn.. keep yer chin up..
I paid 500/month to stay in an efficiency south of Hollywood about 5 years ago now. Best have a fuckin' car if you are going to live down in the southern cal. so yea, where and why?
slower the better at times,, as long as it doesent go full speed when it finally makes the turn,, cause we all know whats at the end of the straightaway..
500 is all?? wow. ya cant get a shit trailer pluss utilities here for that nowadays.. musta been a hellu neighborhood..
the neighborhood wasn't bad, altough i did get held up at gunpoint...but that could happen almost anywhere in LA....the place was pretty tiny, no kitchen, it was like a hospital type feel almost. I heard it had been a boarding house for soldiers back in the 30's or so. Go much further south of there though, and it was gangland
they have them in downtown sd for 650 a month all utilities included...they're really bad though and that was seeing the pics on craigslist so I could imagine how they would be in person
when it comes to positive or negative vibes, it seems im most always right. its those who i get no strong vibe from one way or the other that fool me, generaly because i write it off to shyness and give them the benifit of the doubt
Ain't that the truth? My sis lived in San Diego with a college degree and a specialized training but she's back on the east cost. Save up some money and find a friend that's moving out there so you can share expenses. Get a job where you live that can transfer you to the same position in Cali. Then you can move out there, have a job lined up, and be secure.
y'all got me thinking....i live in california & am dirt poor. would i be able to live more comfortably somewhere else?
I'm in san diego with a degree...work at the coorperate level now and live with my mom...and am still broke most of the time...I just found out ym cell phone was shut off my bill is 600 dollars. I have it in the bank but I am seriously doubting that I charged that much and my bill had a lot of dropped calls on it and the calls didn't add up so I am disputing it but shit just everything seems like it is so much more here.
Here are my estimates: apartment: $600 I've found them for that or lower (see link)http://www.rentnet.com/apartments/fyp/search/brochure/floorplan.jhtml?pid=472003&fid=556823&poe=move&btyp=E&sid=BB3E5407A1884888963268C34CB75DFBfood: $6.50 per day x 30= 200/mo. other stuff $100 per month Total cost per month= $900 job pay = $8/hr.- 30% stolen by the man= $4.90 $4.90/ hr. at 9 hours per day, 6 days per week =1,058 per month. I'd like to find a roommate though, since I might not find a job with that many hours, or some other costs might appear. I pick California because of the weather, concert and rave scenes, and cultural significance. I would like to be in a large city. My preferences are approxamently in this order: Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Miami, Orlando, Portland, Dallas.
I would Chose LA it is the cheapest of the three. Apartments in san francisco go for at least 2k and that's in the ghetto near the culinary institute, only problem with LA is that the sady parts are REALLY shady. san deigo is by far the dafer of the three. I lived in a slummy neighborhood before down here and lived alone and was fine.
Ummmm, much more comfortably. Been tellin' your ass this for years. Also, to beyond the clouds, if you're paying 30% taxes, you're getting fucked.
With all due respect, this budget will never work. You don't have nearly enough leeway for unexpected expenses.
Come to Alberta,Canada. We have a booming economy, and not enough people to fill all the jobs needed. Hell, Tim Horton's is hiring at 10$/h! Plus, it's gonna be one HOT HOT summer this year. It's supposed to be 30C today.
