My point is that the Khazary origin of Ashkenazi Jews is a myth.
I think you would actually support me on this cause it is important to you to prove that the Jews are a followers of religion and so don't have a common DNA pool.


Whether the Jews are "really" a people ,doesn't matter, what's important is that they feel they are. Likewise , it doesn't matter whether the Palestinians are "a people" or a group of Egyptians and Jordanians, because the Palestinians feel they are a nation and no one can convince them to the opposite. All these concepts - nation, people, country are man made.
If we want to find a solution to this conflict we need to understand that both Israeli Jews and Palestinian Arabs are convinced that they are "a people" and want their own state. Convincing them otherwise is a waste of time and energy. A practical solution is what we need.
Suggestions such as incorporating West Bank and Gaza into Israel, or sending all the Jews back to Europe or building a united Arab empire in the Middle East are just a waste of time cause they are not practical.
It is obvious that a two state solution is the only thing that will prevent further blood shed. It might not appear "just" to either side , but I personally believe that life is more important than justice.

 

Back in Moses' day, Jews could be more rightfully called a people because of their close proximity to one another. Judaism was localized before it was exported.

But times have changed. These people are almost all gone now. Modern Jews are a rainbow of different races and cultures. The idea of a Jewish people was never updated to the way things are in the presnt day.

Some are attempting to resurrect this idea of a "people". They do it for an ulterior motive.

They don't do it for Judaism.

according to modern Judaism , a persona is considered Jews only if his mother is Jewish or he converted, hence Mr "Pearlman" is not considered a Jew by the Jewish community (he might be considered Jewish by some progressive America Jewish communities but most definitely not in Israel)

 

Yes, i am familiar with Judaism. But i don't see how we can be considered Jewish by anyone, he hasn't converted to Judaism,His mother wasn't Jewish And at 17 converted to Islam Yet they (Rat&Xexon) both claim Adam was a Jewish Al Queda operative.

I was trying to let xexon and Rat give their explanations, every time i ask, they both run off, go figure.

If you were to ask an average New Yorker what ethnic backgound the name "Pearlman" brings to mind, most would say Jewish. To do otherwise would like be suggesting that Einstein was actually Japanese. People identify with what they're familar with.

You can't always count on "facts" in a book to reflect how people see things. So it becomes a matter of semantics and the hairsplitting festival that ensues from that argument.
