I'd say buy a lovesac, but they are almost as expensive as that. I WISH we got one that cheap... the wife insists on buying a new bed when we move next May and she's looking at ones in the 3-4 thousand dollar range.

I say, because you guys are just starting out, get just the mattress right now, then later on once you're able to save up some more money, go out and get the rest. That way, it shouldn't set you back too much by doing it gradually.
