You'd marry a man just for his cooking?

    Very noble.

That sounds great BSR! I may go ahead and try that tomorrow  I've found that adding extra lemon, olive oil, salt and fresh coriander (cilantro) after cooking really adds to the kick!

Have you ever tried making a Perivian ceviche with jumbo Tiger prawns?

Heres one that you might like. Try heating a pan with vegetable oil and sprinkle it with salt. When the pan is smoking hot, throw on a large rump steak without the fat. Seal it on every side for a minute or 2 then switch off the heat. The excess heat will cook the steak leaving a tender middle. Add as much salt and pepper as you can handle and add a liberal amount of Maggi liquid seasoning. Fry some fries and dice a fresh tomato in the meantime and grate fresh garlic cloves on the finest grate. Add the pulped garlic to the steak and cover it and it's ready to serve. If you really like it spicy then add a huge dollop of strong Engish mustard on the side for that extra ass kick. Your nose will run but your taste buds will be in heaven. Serve with a ridiculous amount of ice cold brewskies :jester:

    Now that makes me hungry.

Never tried pervian ceviche with jumbo Tiger prawns though...

I did discover a very easy way to make some badass ceviche. Buy some fresh salmon fillet at the store, cut of a piece, put it in some lemon juice and lemon based soy sause for a couple of hours.

Open, and enjoy awesome ceviche...add some chives and shit for flavouring.

Wow, that doesn't sound hard to make at all. I'll have to cook me some when I get back to Florida (and start making mooooney) in a week.

You can get lemon juice based soy in any Asian store.

It's like the regular kikoman (or whatever it is) soy, just with some lemon in it.

    I <3 salmon BSR.

I'm going to try that 2, thanks for the up :) Do you just serve the marinated salmon as it is or do you add the tomato, onion and lime juice etc to make a true cerviche?

I have a few beers left so I'm going to watch 30 Days Of Night and pass out half way through.. later guys :D

Add whatever you please. The salmon by itself makes for a poor man's ceviche.

You have a good one mate.
