I recycle....I have 3 bins not including organic...its a pain but I do it

 

I knew a guy who would ride around town on his bike with a garbage bags. He would just pick up all the cans he would find. He made good money doing it until recycling became mandatory and the prices dropped.

 

we still see people here routing through blue bins to find liquor bottles people are too lazy to return to the liquor store....3 wine bottles in a blue bin and you have a dollar

 

If jersey had return deposits I would have collected them

Hell, I would be able to go on a vacation once a year only from the cans I use.

 

Milk Bottles......Wine Bottles......And Fruit Juice Bottles Are Non Returnable Here.....

All Of Which I Send To Landfill......

I hated milk jugs when I lived in an apartment. They always filled up the bottle recycling bin. I feel like slapping the people putting them there. That shit was meant for glass bottles. (Even if it wasn't one glass bottle is worth more than a bin full of that garbage)

people here bring liquor bottles and leave them at our dump for donation to building the walls on our hockey rink..it only has a roof so far.....our beer cans at are a nickel and beer bottles a dime....tall cans also a dime

mind you...you must pay out that cash when you buy the bottle...it is an extra hidden charge in every purchase.....shits not free lol

but like I said people are lazy....they have one wine bottle and don't think its worth it o they fir it into their recycling as glass
