I don't know the official rules but no, there's definitely a problem if you go racing in the city canals It would cause a lot of disturbance for just all the houseboats already. I can imagine there's some rule for being allowed to have a rowing paddle or other kind of boat in the canal, even if it's across your own doorstep/borders on your yard. Outside cities this may be a bit less strict, unless its a real important transporting canal. Otherwise surely all kinds of rubbish would fill the canal sides.
I bet if people tried to water ski in a spacey canal outside the city they can get away with it before someone comes along and forbids it, but probably not allowed there. We have lots of other water here though where it is allowed and more suitable (when it is the season for it that is )

If you have a small boat and a good place to store it you can have a nice afternoon with it in the canals any day. I see lots of them in the city alone, year round (more in summer of course). When me and my friends rent a (small motor) boat in summertime we're never in the city though. Usually hit up a lake. Last time was so much fun we all agreed it's a shame we don't do it more often.

girlfriend really needs to stop being a crackhead .. Im serious,, shes fucking whacky.. Im driving to the store when Im making a turn and there is a cab blocking my way to get it, and a person that wants to get into the cab is fucking around. Im trying to make the turn and im blocking traffic. low and behold the police are right behind me lighting me up, not my fault I cant move, and hes basically lighting up the cab, he just happens to be behind me WOOOPPPP WOOOOOOOOP... girlfriend in the car starts flipping out, like wtf.. shes going to get us arrested for this behavior. screaming at me to just go. I cant go, I want to turn, shut the fuck up you dumb bitch, Im not affraid of the police. Ive veteran plates on my car for fucks sakes. cops aint worried about me. just the stupid asshole that dont want to get in the cab and is holding up traffic....... damn..

 

and another fucking thing. Im sick this bitch saying I smell like weed. the other day Im at the broinlaws, I light him up with a doobie in the gameroom.. dank smell ,, beautiful fucking freedom scent.. who comes to ruin the show but none other than my girlfreind saying it smells all the way upstairs.. so fucking what. not the first time tha house reeked of weed.. but now browinlaw has to light the candles which fuck with my MS badly and I have to tell him not to.. since when did this bitch become some little old lady. Its starting to creep me the fuck out ...

Im still irked how she reacted with the cops behind me. Shes drawing attention to me when Im not the problem . basically causing a domestic disturbance in the car when all I want to do is turn and the asshole cab is blocking my way, the cops light up because of that. not telling me to forget about turning, just go forwards. NO why the fuck would I drive away from the store Im turning into.. just dumb dumb dumb.. I want to turn into the store and this asshole is standing on the driveway sidewalk holding up the cab while I blow the horn a few time, get in or get the fuck out the way.. finally police chirp.. and oh the bitch just pissed her pants. Im not the one they are chirping for.. they want the asshole to get off the driveway and make up their minds to get in the fucking cab or not.................. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!!
