It's exactly nine months after Valentine's Day...

Thanks yall! I did tons of celebrating....

On the monday before my birthday (the 7th) Brian took me to see They Might Be Giants in concert at the Moore.

That saturday, I cooked a big southern meal for Ms. Tarabelle and our families. We had a blast even though the cake melted...HAHAHA

Sunday, Brian said I had free reign to pick the day's activities. So I chose to go on a walking tour of underground Seattle. What a cool history lesson. Afterwards, we ate at this really cool cajun/creole restaurant and jazz club.

On Monday, my actual birthday, we heard our baby's heartbeat for the first time.

So I had tons of presents. What a cool birthday number 20 turned out to be...

er, how exactly does a cake melt?

 

Well, Ms. T.Belle and her beautiful family came over. She was holding a cake and a present. I took the cake from her and noticed that the box said "ice cream layer cake". I asked if I should put it in the freezer and she said no. It wasn't really an ice cream cake. So I set it down on the kitchen table.

So, life goes on. We eat (in the living room), talk, listen to music, play some games. About 5 hours later, I go into the kitchen for something...Maybe cake, I don't remember...And I see that the cake has tried to migrate. unfortunately, only the ice cream sea and the top cake layer migrated. So we have a very lopsided (but still delicious for breakfast!) ice cream layer cake.
