front door is up


my doors rotted away a long time ago so replaced them with some of those velcro edge tonneau covers....they are heavy enough to stay where they need to be and the extra overlap makes for easy in and out for me but keeps the wind out

the bottoms...sides and roof are doubled up too to help keep in heat



i just came back from the propane place..filling four 20 lb tanks was $63 after taxes and apparently there is some new carbon tax.....i thought one tank was expired but turns out it ok until summertime


also small truck was dead..and it snowing like a bastard ...i had to find my charger to get it boosted..apparently i left the rear hatch window open a hair and that is enough to almost drain the battery overnight

and then to add to it i had just mounted my new atv tires on new rims (in the basment)...did it all by hand with 2 small bars and my arms are dead weight for the rest of the day...and the compressor is so noisy im still pretty deaf

 

i come home and passed out

tex mex we go there and another Mexican place, but never taco bell.

 

Hot water line is froze. If there is no busted pipes I can deal with it but it will be real bad if a pipe is busted...who knows how long it will take to thaw and find where it is.

pens water plumbing is by far the easiest to fix and repair. as long the pipe is exposed you can get it. if you dont know how to solder pipe you can use youtube to learn it.

Someone just recommended the hairdryer. I switched to plastic pipes last year. Was hoping it would help avoid this. I tried soldering and that shit didn't stick Flux was a joke. One YouTube video I saw from an expert had trouble getting it to stick.
Most of the pipes are under the house. Fuck that. I rather wait till Friday and hope it breaks loose and deal with the cold water.
I have one exposed pipe I will try heating that I have a feeling that it's frozen there.

Had water on with all the non working pipes open. Sitting watching TV. Normally I can easily here the water hitting the sink but the TV was too loud I guess. Bathtub and bathroom sink overflowed caused serious flooding in the room my pool table is in.
Not sure what the damage will be but a few hundred is safe to say....let's see if everything dries like it should.

Anyone know anything about homeowners insurance covering that kind of thing?
