Some of the ones we have are crappy.

The ceramic tower heater that we bought at Northern is crappy. We bought one, returned and replaced it with the same one after a few days. The replacement only lasted a very short time as well.

We have had good luck with the regular, electric heaters at Walmart.

i have one of those little overpriced infomercial heaters ...looks like a cheap fake wood box and the heat comes from a computer fan blowing over a halogen bulb

it works fine and only cost me $3 from the place where they sell things at the dump.....so many working things get thrown out its ridiculous

its digital and has a remote which is handy...works pretty good but id prefer one with a timer so i didnt have to shut it off in morning and turn it on at night

    similar to this one

We've got one similar and it's great.

In fact the newest one we bought is the same principle but it's taller and black plastic.

We also have some small ones for bathrooms, etc.

The latest we bought at Walmart and it's by Comfort Zone.

Friend from work says he has one like that wooden one. At least how he described it. He loves it. Best electric one I have looks like a fireplace it works fine but I bought it before I learned what watt settings I need to be comfortable. That thing didn't do the job so I never use it. In hindsight I should have put it on while it was freezing and would have helped with the propane heater. Now by the time the room warms up it will be tomorrow where it's supposed to get near 50f. I will keep that in mind for the next cold stretch though.

The one I have that looks like wood did come from Northern Tools and it's called Pro Fushion.

We've had it a couple of years and we love it.

Yesterday I ate Ramen. I didn't want to go outside and turn on the water so I used a bottle of water I had. Completely liquid in the bottle. As I poured it on the noodles the water turned to ice.
I wouldn't even think that was possible if I didn't see a guy do it with a beer and explain how it happens.

If cancer deaths are down. and people use cannabis to treat cancer.. dont you think cannabis may have something to do with the fact that cancer deaths are down?

Yes, I think Cannabis has something to do with it. I also think that less people smoking cigarettes might have something to do with it.

i ate a super brownie last night.. woke up today feeling like a million bucks. strange effect that at 5am in the morning. I let the dog out, it was 16F, but I didnt even feel cold. it was really weird as i stood on the porch. I went back in and looked to see the temps thinking it must be over 30F., nope 16F.

    probably a blend door actuator

in winter the a/c works to dehumidify....so a door moves to send air thru evaporator and heater core ...it was probably stuck letting too much cool air bypass the core

Put my boots near the heater yesterday. Every time I felt them they felt cold. But just put them on and inside they were room temp. Perfectly warm walking in the snow.
