My city had its first homicide at 12:23am this morning. I can only imagine how many homicides that happened at 12:01am new years day around the world.

my family is gathering at my sisters but I am not attending....cant spare the gas today and since I am blessed with a mostly very close family I get to see them all the time through the year...today is clean up day....

stopped by a local bar on the way home from work on new years a couple years ago. had one drink and a cop walked in. i thought ok i think its time to go. found out the next day that right before i showed up a girl got shot by her friend in the leg. no homicide but it easily could have been.

 

my weather says -2 atm but I was out and its more like plus2 or 3 at least...its balmy out there ...

we ordered sushi last night and I tipped the guy $10 for a $40 order. the driving was shitty and i wouldn't have wanted to be out doing his job last night.

I don't really follow college football but I really hope they beat Alabama. Those guys seem to be in the championship game every year. What's a Crimson Tide anyway? It sounds like lady troubles.

 

i just dont like alabama because when i think of them i think of backwoods hillbillies.
even though i know that is an unfair stereotype i havnt liked them since i was a lil kid for that reason.

Clemson Tigers are good...DeShawn plays better under pressure, it seems to me. THAT kind of pressure would make me fold. He has to be more than a "good" athlete in college imo, to get to a national level year after year.

The son will be going out to Arizona to see them play next, in what I think will be the last game.

but I think that is it after this next one at nationals. They will play Alabama, again smh Lordhavemercy

I've finally recovered from last night's joyful and emotional night. Celebrated and toasted the night and early morning away.

Now I'm told to do house chores....lol
