Yeah if I have to stay on the resort i'm not going to bother going at all. What is the point of traveling if you dont soak up the local culture?

I remember once or twice being heartbroken at midnight when I didn't get that kiss from what ever lady I happened to be chasing

    good times....

Cannabidiol Modulates Fear Memory Formation Through Interactions with Serotonergic Transmission in the Mesolimbic System
Christopher Norris, Michael Loureiro, Cecilia Kramar, Jordan Zunder, Justine Renard, Walter Rushlow and Steven R Laviolette
    Abstract
Emerging evidence suggests that the largest phytochemical component of cannabis, cannabidiol (CBD), may possess pharmacotherapeutic properties in the treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders. CBD has been reported to functionally interact with both the mesolimbic dopamine (DA) and serotonergic (5-HT) receptor systems. However, the underlying mechanisms by which CBD may modulate emotional processing are not currently understood. Using a combination of in vivo electrophysiological recording and fear conditioning in rats, the present study aimed to characterize the behavioral, neuroanatomical, and pharmacological effects of CBD within the mesolimbic pathway, and its possible functional interactions with 5-HT and DAergic transmission. Using targeted microinfusions of CBD into the shell region of the mesolimbic nucleus accumbens (NASh), we report that intra-NASh CBD potently blocks the formation of conditioned freezing behaviors. These effects were challenged with DAergic, cannabinoid CB1 receptor, and serotonergic (5-HT1A) transmission blockade, but only 5-HT1A blockade restored associative conditioned freezing behaviors. In vivo intra-ventral tegmental area (VTA) electrophysiological recordings revealed that behaviorally effective doses of intra-NASh CBD elicited a predominant decrease in spontaneous DAergic neuronal frequency and bursting activity. These neuronal effects were reversed by simultaneous blockade of 5-HT1A receptor transmission. Finally, using a functional contralateral disconnection procedure, we demonstrated that the ability of intra-NASh CBD to block the formation of conditioned freezing behaviors was dependent on intra-VTA GABAergic transmission substrates. Our findings demonstrate a novel NAc→VTA circuit responsible for the behavioral and neuronal effects of CBD within the mesolimbic system via functional interactions with serotonergic 5-HT1A receptor signaling.

its how the cbd molecule effects neurotransmitters.. tech stuff over most our heads. cannabissoul/ and porkstock may be able to break it down. but its just jibber jobber to me.

they gave live rates doses of CBD directly into their brains and it stopped the formation of "memories" that normally form from a fear response and result in the animal freezing/playing dead in response to the fear stimuli.
it gives more understanding in how CBD interacts with natural neural transmitters.

I mostly understand what it says, but I don't know much about what the different transmitters mentioned actually do to be able to paraphrase it.

in therapy it could help people who are crippled by conditioned responses to certain stimuli, if I understand the implications of it.

I'm pleased to report that, thus far, Clemson is winning 17 to 0 against the Buckeyes (Ohio State). This is the last elimination game that is played before Nationals.

I delivered during the winter when I was in high school. I don't remember any particular days being good though. I always got bad tips. Smashed my car in a snowstorm before I learned the delivery area well enough.

Worst delivery was just in town but house had no number. They said the blue one on the corner there was 3 blue houses at that intersection. It was a wide area so I had to walk from house to house got to the final blue house and woman says nobody ordered pizza. Then she says wait. Bob you order pizza? "No"
    John you order pizza? "No"
    Mary you order pizza? "No"
Then she says hold on closes the door....I did mention I was walking through snow in freezing weather right?
She opens the door and a kid is coming down stairs and counts out half the amount in pennies. Of course no tip.

I did have a handful of good deliveries though. Maybe I will share them later.

    That sounds about right.

When I worked at Pizza Hut, we sold beer by the pitchers, and serving drunks never bothered me whatsoever. Most of the time, they went out of the way to be nice and clean up their area AND THEY ALWAYS TIPPED! :hurray:

However, I dreaded like HELL the after church crowd. They were the nastiest, dirtiest, rudest asses in the world. They NEVER tipped unless one of the poor whipped down men left me a tip UNDER his plate or napkin. I've heard more than one bitch wife telling the poor husband "Don't leave a tip!!! What do you think she works for?!?" You can rest assured I would make certain I'd tell someone within earshot of bitch that I was making $2.13/hr. They took pride in being nasty - both physically leaving a nasty mess and having a nasty attitude...AND they took even more pride (if that's possible) in not leaving a tip.

I never could (and still can't) figure how those women got and kept their husbands...some of them would be nice men and everything. I guess that's the beauty of it - some things I'll never understand.
