^I agree I thought it was going to be as funny as that 70's show but I couldn't believe how horrible it was!
It seems like all my fave TV shows get cancelled. But here's some seriously sad ones: That 80's Show: C'mon, they didn't even give it a chance. I really liked the few episodes I caught. Pepperann: Kids show that kicked butt. All about a freaky red-haired chick who was unique and a lot of fun. Titus: Titus was hilarious. Yes, it was starting to get a little repetitive but it had serious potential. Beetlejuice Cartoon: Need I say more?
That's My Bush was classic, but the show that springs to mind for me is Clone High, it was great but only went for one season and ended with so much potential The characters were all teenage clones of famous figures, a lanky abe lincoln, class clown mahatma gandhi, goth joan of arc, slutty JFK and Cleopatra (voiced by kate from drew carey)
Everybody named off some great shows, My So Called Life and Titus were some of my favorites. But one show that got cancelled that I loved was Carnivale on HBO. After 2 seasons they pulled the plug due to ratings. One of the best original series I have ever seen and they could do so much more with it and go in so many different directions. Bring Carnivale back HBO!!!
The first thing I thought was "oooh, Freaks and Geeks! I gotta put that!" Now I find that everyone beat me to it.
Long ago and far away in the mid seventies a show came on called 'The wheelers' about a guy and his two border rat sons down in El Paso and the theme song was 'Illeagal Smile' '...it don't cost very much, but it lasts a long while...' I think it lasted maybe three or four episodes...
