I don't think I've seen Palin in any press conference since she was selected. They must be busy coaching her.

Hee hee hee. It is possible the girl doesn't have her dates spot on. Anyway, wouldn't it make a pretty great conspiracy? Almost a romantic conspiracy, too.

They prefer the baby talk to some extent. The baby is a distraction to the media and general public. Then people don't pay attention to things like lack of real press conferences with Palin.

I would say she is just a lack of a heartbeat away from becoming president if McCain gets elected. ;)

Out of curiosity, which women do you speak of? When you get a chance of course.

And it bugs me that a vp candidate is making the presidential candidate more popular due to issues that have nothing to do with what the he's even running for.

I remember when New York Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro ran for Vice President on a ticket with Walter Mondale. Was it 1984? Ferraro was from Queens, NY.

I see some parallels in the two selections of female Vice Presidents.

admittedly, the ferraro thing was when i was too young to really know what was going on. i worshipped reagan, though, so ferraro was out. lol.

what parallels do you see besides the fact that they were probably chosen by their parties to run as VP because they were female & relatively inexperienced? seems like other than that they're like night and day.

Both were represented as coming from working class roots. My Mother grew up in Queens NY and was thrilled that a NY woman had made it to the Presidential ticket. Both Candidates are groundbreakers in thier respective parties and bring symbolic value to the political campagain.

My point is that the Palin move is not unprecedented.

Am I the only one thinking this......WHO GIVES A FUCK!!!!!!!!!! Honestly, are there no other issues to talk about other than a tanning bed that she paid for with her own money? This has to set some records for the most ridiculous waste of media effort in history. However, who would expect anything less from US Magazine?

Sarah Palin scares the bejesus outta me. Something about her... no Everything about her and her Large and becoming Larger family - like the other posts haved said, overshadowing the campaign.
I'm a Christian, as unppopular is that may become, and I do Not agree with ms. knowitallpalin. Abortion is each woman's choice. Thought Roe vs Wade settled that Long ago. To repeat myself - that woman scares me, and her hold over so many
