There is a lady around here, that has been come to be known as the rabbit lady. She brought her rabbit to the park here.....and walked around with it.....like a mother wtching over her kitten.....she was cute the rabbit was darling......but then she was told she could not bring her rabbit to the park anymore because of the turds. Really?....when deer and families of geese and ducks, and turkeys and everything else under the sun goes through there. Many of us were angry at the park ranger who gave her hard time. Rabbit lady still comes around to feed the birds, though, all winter....

 

Yeah they just poop little balls of grass =\ they're kinda cute lol.
The poop doesn't scare me it's the wee but I haven't seen them do it yet. Or felt it..

i seen some storm clouds but it held in the sky. No rain yet.. probably rain tomorrow when i need to catch bus and train. I can catch either but the bus lets me off at the doors. train, Ive to walk a little bit.

 

rain/ snow mix here. chilly too. bleh.
hubby wont be home tonight, hes basically working a triple, plus naps. and i have to make dental appointments its about time to have a couple more pulled. its not excruciating, but it is bothersome. my dentist will suggest a crown, and i will decline. its cheaper to pull the bad teeth, and crowns arent permanent, no way im spending that much money twice.

today im working on my bedroom mess. loathsome job.

 

damnit. had a flock of geese in the yard but the nut dog scared them off quickly..
going to fire up the outdoor 120watt crate amp. been under snow and ice ,, but its been dependable before ... will see..

 

feels like it is going to rain soon. i'm holing myself up in the library for the majority of the day today. tons of pain in my joints over the last 24 hours. I think i'm going to spend my time off of school practising with the dictation software that the school got for me. it would be nice to be able to use it to take notes while studying or to write a test with, if it comes down to it.

 

didn't touch the fire outside since yesterday...rained all night....fire still going today.....tells you how hot it was under there.....I must ohave burned a thousand pounds of crap and sawdust and wet straw from wintering the hens

i just realized its a fucking sunday, so i cant make an appointment until tomorrow. i have never had a job where i got weekends off. not that ive worked a lot of places, but still.
i am having a rough day. i just forgot my job history. why did i leave that restaurant? and when?

i got a new book too, its Mini-Farming, Self Sufficiency on 1/4 acre
i like having a lot of different references for gardening and homesteading. different areas respond better to different techniques, and i want to test those for this environment. its very dry here, the sun is incredibly intense, and the soil is rocks and clay.

 

I have to agree, what do they think happens to all the poop from the wild animals. Nature can handle it.

Made a 2 hour drive each way for a free STS9 show since that is one the girlfriend's favorite bands. We had to get their early something like 10,000 people came and word was people would be turned away.

They had to cancel their show here a few months back because the bassist left. He was considered the heart of the band so fans didn't know what was happening. So basically I had no choice but to go last night lol. She was bouncing off the walls with excitement. But they put on a good show and I had a good time.
