I so enjoy reading everything you write, ML.

I'm also lazy today and wanted to add/agree specifically to the bolded part. I totally agree and have seen this in my life, my mother's life and then with young people I have worked with.

Even though I try to continue to learning new things, I will quickly admit that things such as the evil touch-screen computer/"register" at work is just barely short of hell. Yet, most of the young people just jump on there and zip, bam, boom they have it. :banghead: After months, I'm ok on the register, but I still hate it...since it's not really a register. grrrrrr

The worse thing of all is that these same young people can't spell and on the (rare) occasion I forget to hide my vocabulary and joke using a word with more than 2 syllables, they look at me like I'm speaking a foreign language. :p And here's a Big Surprise (not)...they have NO MATH SKILLS. I don't need the computer to tell me how much change to give someone...I can actually count the change back! I know, I know...such a foreign concept. If one of them punches in an incorrect amount given to them, I've seen them actually call a manager to come and help tell them how much change the customer should get. lol

Back when I was going to school, there was no G&T program. There would be 3 classes for all the grades. We finally figured out that those in 1-A were smarter than those in 1-B and 1-C students probably needed to really be in another school. There were never many students in the C group.

Anyway, even in the A group, I never felt like I fit in...even though my bff says I did. lol I became the class clown, figuring (correctly) that if you can make everybody laugh, they usually wouldn't actively dislike you.

As a young adult, I not only discovered I  weed, but that it helps you "fit in", whether you care to or not. After I got in my mid to late 20's I found I didn't give a shit whether someone liked me or not. I got more concerned about avoiding those I didn't like. :mickey:

I also love it here because people of all ages from everywhere just let a person talk and it's all cool.

you got rid of them, i have a couple of canadian pennies. and wheatpennies, i love wheatpennies. i dont know why. i love weird coins of all kinds. scratch that, i love weird of all kinds :)

thats a pretty dog, but i got no sympathy for chicken killers.
ive read stories of rabbits in elevated hutches getting their feet chewed off through the bottom by dogs. its something i would not have considered if i hadnt seen it. my rabbit plans will be mostly protected on the bottom, and on the lower part of the sides (to keep kits from falling out )

just found out colorado passed a cottage food law, so if i can get chickens allowed i will be allowed to sell eggs from home. also dehydrated produce, jams jellies and preserves, seeds nuts spices and teas. there are more things on the not-allowed list, but its a good start. i emailed a council member today. i hope he sees things my way, hes got a family and a little girl, im sure he wants the best foods for her.

i never jest about money haha....we phased out the penny...it only comes into play electronically...store owners round up or down to get to the nickel....thats why if something is 2.52 you pay cash and pay 2.50....not sure what they do if its at a '3'....also

no such thing as penny candy anymore because there is no way to charge a penny/......we have nickel candy now

I am sitting here about gagging over dogs chewing the feet off rabbits.

    shitdamnmercygod...that's just awful!

LOL @ Ori...yeah...that was a bird dog. yes, I went there too. :p

I remember my great-uncle on the farm saying he had to get rid of a dog because it "sucked eggs" and he was afraid it would start getting the chickens. As a child I didn't understand. I do now.

ROLLING, are your chickens in any kind of enclosure?

I just hate the chickens getting eaten and that the dog is just roaming around, able to do that.

I have SO MUCH TO DO! But what am I doing? Entertaining myself here :D ...I'm going up the road today in a bit to get some more firecracker material and a diet pill (or 2) to help me clean up this awful house (and make me even a little crazier) while I'm off.

We should treat chicken abuse the same way it's dealt with in Skyrim. Dead chicken means the whole town is on your ass to kill you. (skip to about 33 seconds)

Really, I was wondering if any loose animal was against the law on the island.

I've just known people that kept their chickens in coops or within a fence; but, it was to keep them from getting in the road. Well, I think that was it, mostly.

Regardless of if the man lost his wife or not (which is terribly sad), the dog should be in a fence.

In my opinion, if you want to keep your dog whole and alive, you need to keep a watch on them and keep them either inside or in a fence...unless you live on a huge farm and have work dogs. Of course, that's different. :)
