Book finished. =]

Now I start a new book tomorrow. I am going through my book library and reading anything I've never read before. I always remembered "The Scarlatti Inheritance" by it's cover of a stack of money with a swastika on it but I also remember that book was falling to pieces and I threw it out one day. I believe my grandpa,owned it. One day at a garage sale I saw the same book and bought it for like 20c or something. I've only just read it though.

I was just hearing some crunching noises so I went to laundry where my rabbits are I slide the door open and they're destroying the box home! And then two of the most adorable little faces I've ever seen came bouncing to the slide door and both pop their heads out wondering if they can come out to the living room. Then on my floorboards we hear "thump thump thump" they're out and about, probably bored in the laundry xD

Might have to call them trouble one and trouble two. =p

Monday.....flood warning all over the place in Ontario and new york

 

tons of rain here. forecast is calling for 5-10cm of snow tonight with another 2-4cm tomorrow...

 

pissy dip in the weather here and then warm again. cold if fine. I can due without the rain.

 

I have a bunch of men walking around on my roof making a racket. They are putting a new roof on the house today. I may be certifiable by the time it is done.

 

exam tomorrow, two on wednesday, and then I have 2.5 weeks off

I'm going to read all of the books that I haven't had time to read during school.

 

Last night was the local finals for the poetry slam, to see who makes the team for nationals.
It was an awful fucking night. One of the judges were random assholes doling out scores as low as 2.8 (You get on stage, motherfucker) and the person that won, did really shitty in the first round but she gay-proposed at the end of her second poem to her girlfriend and suddenly skyrocketed into first place. (she tried a gimmick with her first poem too) Ungh. Like I wasn't jaded enough about the scene as it was. But fuck the concept of slam. Competition and dishonesty and gimmicks can't be good for art.
