I would have to say that neither of them behaved in a very becoming manner. I would say that based only on the video, the older gentleman was indeed displaying a racist attitude and that the young buck was acting like a punk with something to prove. That being said, I also expect that the older of the two should have a little more common sense and have applied it. To give credit, the younger man did start out to be reasonable but then had to make a point and prove that he was a young person with an attitude. So for me there may be more of an excuse regarding the younger persons reaction based only on when younger we all act without thinking. I also think that the older of the two did rather provoke a reaction but so did the young buck. We only can hope that as we age we think without acting. Does not always work that way.
The big issue is that there were no fences or visible borders to show that it was his property. How was he supposed to know that he was trespassing?
Common sense. When one side of the pond is developed with homes, it would stand to reason that the property behind them belongs to the home owners. I do feel the old fellow had every right to tell them they should not be on his property and use it as a dog park. He did not have the right to then make the comments he did about the young fellow regarding race. They both share responsibility in the flare up.
exactly. the punk enjoyed that he was getting a reaction. he was totally trying to set that old man off. I think he was waiting for the old man to touch him because he wanted to fight. and the the old man had a temper and let it get the best of him rather than be mature and ignore the guy. in the midwest usa most suburban neighborhoods have no fences and all housing areas are open. and yes it is considered rude to walk your dog through them. but this place looks like a retirement home or something like that. plus here in California cops can pull up and if you are not with a friend that lives in the neighborhood and you are just chilling or whatever then you can be asked to leave. some neighborhood have signs that say no trespassing and in that case you get a fine rather than just being asked to leave. I know a lake around my area that has sign saying it is for residents of the neighborhood only. plus here in california lots of areas have laws that where if your dog craps on the grass and you do not clean it up then you get a fine. thanks for the video though. it was entertaining and had a very exciting ending haha. for a second I thought there was gonna be some punches thrown but the video ended after that hard push. yeah exactly. the kid should respect the guys property but he was immature and the old man came at him angry so he wanted to challenge the old man and set him off some more rather than be like whatever that old man is crazy peace out. yeah but people see two white kids that are bad that are from a trailer park causing problems and say those typical white punks then you gotta consider that racist too. I do not view typical black punk as racist. now if he said you are a typical ****** then he would be racist. he is not saying all blacks are punks just that the guy fits the definition of other black people who are punks.
Yeah I know, But the point is that the elder man should of spoke to an adult and not the teen. The teen asked him a simple question, he should of just answered, and didn't have to get angry, plus there's was a little girl near the teen, the old guy didn't have to cuss and shit.
I didn't get to see it either, but I'd like to point out that I am actually really surprised when I meet an old white man who is not racist. Now that might just be in my area and what I'm regularly exposed to, but I do know that old people are very set in their ways. There's no changing their minds, making them better people, they've had 80 years to form their opinions and probably only have a bit longer to have those opinions, so of course they're going to hold on. There's no sense in being upset over racist old people, that's the way it was in their days, and they won't be around forever, and normally the only way they can hurt you is with words. Just leave racist old people be, they'll die soon anyway.
