go back in a month and a half and ask for a pregnancy test, then say "if i could have only gotten a condom"
In all honesty, why would it matter? This is life experience. Pain happens, and so does love. It's all a part of life, and it should be embraced. <3
I'm thinking that West Virginia might be a bit high on abstinence-only, and a school nurse is unlikely to have a condom stash, but do check. if it is an abstinence area, a clerk can easily make a "rule." Call the management. They never want to know money walked out the door.
it's either a state law thing, or its a store thing. when i worked at walmart (GASP) we had to card anyone that looked under 40 for beer. it was store policy
I understand that. But no-one ever had one condom too many and lost control of their car. Or went home and beat their wife. I confess to not understanding, in the slightest, the attitudes of some USA regulators (either formal or informal, such as store policy) to the provision of contraception. It's almost as if some people would rather see kids pregnant and with STIs so that they can trumpet see what sex does to you? Is that their attitude?
No, you can still smoke when you are 16. You can't buy them at 16 anymore. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2007/jan/01/health.smoking.
Yeah, you pretty much got it. Or some fusion of that, and the idea that if people can't have "safe" sex, they won't have ANY sex..... Needless to say, it's fucking stupid.
I got carded buying condoms when I was 18 in Virginia. The cashier didn't know for sure if she could sell them to me or not, so instead of asking a manager I just showed her my card.
