I can't say I've ever felt that way. If you're a chick (and halfway decent looking) and you want to have sex with me, let's do it baby!

Yeah, I'm a slut. I damn well love sex though.

I think we have deeper needs and sex and masturbation are a way of meeting those needs.

Once we all get into our 50s, there are actually medical reasons for having sex. For men, it helps to keep the heart healthy, and helps to keep prostatic fluids fresh and reduce the risk of prostate cancer.

For women, it also keeps the heart healthy, and reduces the effects of vaginal atrophy.

I agree with the previous posters. I think biologically its a need. The want comes from choosing a partner

It's been a known fact for years that ON THE AVERAGE, married couples live longer than single people. But, a few years ago, somebody got curious as to why there was such a larger spread in ages where married couples died, and smaller spread for single people dying at a younger age.

What they came up with is that it's the couples that are the most sexually active, the latest into their years, that live the longest and have the best quality of life. Again, on the average, the couples that are more active, live into 80s and 90s, while couples that pretty much terminate activity after they've had all the kids they want, often in their 30s, generally don't go much beyond their 60s.

I have looked for the original article I read, and have not found it. If I had, I would have posted a link here. With everything I find that's ten and twenty years old, I would expect that it's still available. I don't believe it was from more than five years ago. There were about four universities involved in the study, so it's got to be around somewhere. I'll keep looking.

Are all you folks spending all this time looking up the benefits of sexual activity?
