I'd be a lot farther in posts if I truly didn't have a life (no offense to those of you out there).

The only reason why I am here is because it's summer and I'd rather do this than read The Iliad. It was my personal goal to beat 1,000 posts this summer. I didn't think I'd do it. Damn, now I don't know what to do with myself for the rest of the summer....

kanye west has done more to save the world than most of us will ever do. because he bitched about bush on tv. i know this because i have read magazines. because i didn't feel like leaving my house to go to the peace rally, and i got a stain on my tie dye shirt so i had to throw it away.

but really. the only way to get anything accomplished without getting kicked all the way to guantanamo and forgotten the week after, is through the media. and by the time you get famous enough that anyone knows who you are, you'll just become another part of the problem. and if you don't, you'll find that you still have very little power. the only way to "help" is to not hold a flame to the snowflake, but there's no way to stop it from melting now. even if we got a liberal vegan hippie president in 2008 who was the epitome of the stereotype most of us try to be, by some magical kismet that is near impossible, he (or she... HA!...right) wouldn't be able to do much of anything before getting shot.

Kanye West is actually pretty political. Always has been.

Smart political. Not like Sean Penn who just says something political every now and then when cameras are pointed on him.

 

Despite his sexist lyric's I have a lot of respect for Kanye.
