Does that mean he's had a messed up life too? In all your sexual escapades, is there a chance you've ever gotten a girl pregnant by accident? If you did, would that mean you've messed up your life indefinitely, and that you're forever disqualified from dating people of conservative values?

I have read the thread. There may be cultural differences, but if his family gives him shit for picking the wrong girl, he could just break up with her. In your first post you never mentioned his family or the stigma of dating an American. If that's what you meant, that's what you should have said instead of attacking the girl.

All I’m reading in this thread are appalling character assumptions.

For one thing, if you think she’s a slut. That’s your view and it’s not a good one to have of someone you do like and (could) have more with. I’m only seeing one side of this story and quite frankly there are a number of things going on here that I consider bad signs:
1) Your obvious insecurity concerning her number of sexual partners.
2) That you’ve clearly already labelled her a ‘slut’.
3) Despite everything, you’re thinking negatively about her. Which I think is the signal to move on and let her find someone who will really appreciate her as is. It’s not fair to her, and she probably deserves better than that. If my ex, or even my husband now, thought these things about me at some stage, I’d honestly feel hurt.

Can I just clarify that sleeping with however many people does not make you ‘unstable’, and neither does having an abortion, for that matter—(she knew she would struggle with having a child and raising it in an ideal manner at the time, is that really a bad thing?)—Trauma does that, bad childhoods, assaults, parents, etc.

Sort yourself out and stop holding onto her for the sake of it if you think she’s a ‘slut’.

So no one here knows anything about Europe? Because obviously when you’re born in one country that’s the deciding factor?
