Well I know without a doubt that the definition of a virgin means any sexual activity of any sort with another person. (Swapping bodily fluids, anal, oral, vaginal/penile sex) takes away the definition of one's virginity. That definition is pretty clear cut, it's the others that followed regarding hymen dependency (the hymen being present or not) that are in the gray area of debate.
That's interesting. Then why am I still a virgin? lol Oh wait, did I just give snack to a gnome...no, ghoul? That isn't quite it. Goblin! What, wrong again? Shit... Oh! TR... *loses internet connection*
If that's the case, then what the hell was I taking from all those guys when I was in high school? Being a virgin means that you've never had sex. That's not exclusive to the female gender.
i suppose technically you could argue that boys have penis in vagina at birth. there's still all those c-section virgins though.
Wow this thread has taken a turn. I don't know how half of these answers are helpful to anyone who might have the same questions...male or female. Really, there are thousands of threads and asking your own question is effortless and free. Why not read the original question, think about it...apply it to your own experiences and then answer if you want. I'm not saying everyone just gave BS answers without reading the question, but some of you are out to lunch. Some people gave really good answers.
Hmm...in my Bible that is called adultery, not marriage. But that has nothing to do with the question. If you're not talking about religions views on premarital intercourse, it's called having sex. As in Teen Age Sex, Premarital intercourse, fucking, screwing, knocking boots, shagging, and on and on. I would love to see where you quote from any religious source that sex equals marriage. I guess if you live in the jungle and there is no such thing as marriage...which I've never heard of, then it's just sex. And yes, if she had sex with a virgin, then she took his virginity. Or better sounding is the guys gave her their virginity...and haven't looked for it since. Also, think about what it would be like if men did have a male equivalent to the hymen. It wouldn't last long. And every man who had a functioning dick, would lose his virginity the second he learned about masturbation....maybe at age 9 or 10. Some sort of hymen on a man would be pointless. "How did you lose your virginity bro?" answer: "Internet porn...it's all I had" The ways in which women tear their hymen are as long as varied as your imagination allows...horse back riding, gymnastics, sex, masturbation...and on and on. Assuming she makes it to adulthood with her hymen intact, and loses it during sex, is the original question. I must not have asked this question correctly...because this has gone from point A to somewhere I never knew existed before. I keep reading now, because it's taken on a life of it's own, and I'm amazed at the answers. Some of them are funny. Some are just sort of like WTF? Where did that come from. Thanks for taking the time to answer....could you please go back and read the original question now and take a shot at answering it? Feel free to start your own thread...I'll be happy to chime in, if I feel like I really have something to say and stay on topic. Someone else might have the same question I have...but be to afraid or shy to ask. How about helping people out with your experience and knowledge. And if you have neither, then just read and learn. If someone says something really stupid, please call them out on it. I love reading those responses too, but it still doesn't answer the question. Thanks.
No, you asked the question correctly, and some of us, I believe, provided you with the actual answer. The hymen really is not situated deep inside the vagina. In fact, it's a thin membrane that blocks the vaginal entrance. Your penis will be more than capable of tearing it, should you decide to take that approach. In other words, NO, your penis is NOT too small to take a woman's virginity. You're over 4 inches. That'll do the job.
In my mind, losing one's virginity happens the first time they have sex and not the act of tearing the hymen. If that were the case, I lost mine by falling off of a bicycle when I was about ten. In reality, I lost mine in the back of a car at age sixteen. The guy was about four inches long. But like Alternative Thinker says, that would probably tear a hymen.
True, they aren't the same. But losing one's virginity is a momentous occasion, regardless of what gender they are. It can be a beautiful, wonderful moment, or an awkward, unpleasant one. But it's an important one. It's a very powerful moment in someone's life, and you shouldn't dismiss it's importance for half of the people out there. There's a lot more to a guy's part in a sexual encounter with a woman than 'not being gay.' And guys have to worry about pregnancy as well. Just because it's not happening in their bodies doesn't mean it doesn't effect them. Sometimes, the guy's the one teaching the girl about how to fuck. Just throwing out that guys don't matter during sex is actually a little offensive to me. Whenever I ended up in a situation where a guy was giving me his virginity, I made it all about him and his pleasure and comfort because he can only give that up once. Dude, I am totally stealing that word. Buttginity is getting a place in my vocabulary.
That IS how virginity is lost, not by falling off your bike or tearing your hymen yourself via self penetration, or any other means. The girl I'm involved with now is a virgin but she uses her vibrator for the vaginal penetration purpose during masturbation. The reason why she is still a virgin is because, as you've said, she hasn't had a penis in her vagina yet. On the replies by Tabs, this guy is most likely just trying to get a rise out of us. I suppose the term would be "troll". If he knows what he's talking about, then he hasn't been expressing his wisdom on this website so far.
Strictly in engineering terminology, when a male device connects with the female counterpart for which it was designed, that is referred to as 'marrying', with obvious reference to a sexual symbolism, yet there is no reference there to any superstitious ritual commonly associated with marriage.
If male device connects with female device by inserting pin to the usb port, data flow is enabled, making it possibile to install an app.
