When we went to Solipse festival in 2001 in Zambia there were no problems with the police and vast quantities of acid and various other naughty naughty things that you wouldn't get away with over here. I suppose it's because they never had to deal with that kind of thing before and when a load of white nutters with dreads turn up they're more interested than threatened. I'm pretty sure drugs are illegal over there but police basically turned a blind eye, especially to things like lsd and cannabis.

I would go if I had a bunch of disposable income at the time but I have too many bills to even think about shit like that, 10,000 lakes in gas alone was shitty.

i hear that. cost me $400 in gas roo & back. not to mention gas to other more local festies.
I'm so glad the prices are droping... but of course, as soon as next summer comes along, they'll be right back up.

be cheaper to just take a plane, unless you got a bunch of people chippin in for gas.

Salvia is a hallucinogen that's legal in places, or so I heard. It only last like 15 minutes though. From what I heard from an online friend.

^^^there are many different 'legal' hallucinogens, this thread is specifically about the legality of LSD.

I don't think it matters too much if LSD is legal or not. It gives you the feeling of spiritual freedo when you are on it! Also, it is hard to track or test people for it because it leaves the body when it starts working. LSD started a rebellion in the US and the government made it not available to even test anymore. Too bad for such a beautiful thing that Albert Hoffman created... Also, there is a legal hallucinogen called salvia divinorum. The active ingreediant is extracted in different strenghts back onto it's original leaves. It gives the effects of a strong LSD trip at the peak, but for only minutes, and it seems like seconds that you are hallucinating...
