As an avid reader and fan of Terence Mcenna, Ram Dass, and Timothy Leary. I have come up with my own conclusion with all these philosophers combined. I feel as if LSD could be used as a tool to fix some facets of society, but to have it be the savior? That is a bit of a stretch. This tool has helped me in my relationship with my SO and improved my mental and physical health. I don't think it will be the savior, but has many uses like a hammer is a tool to manufacture goods. LSD is a tool that can improve on some aspects. I don't think my hammer will be helping my granny knit me a blanket for Christmas to keep her sanity though. LSD could improve the pattern idea though! :D

yea well imagine a world without hammers? my goodness we would have to use screws! or a world without knitting... what would we wear?

but a better metaphor i think would be a world without electricity. if there was no electricity things would be different.

I've read recently that researchers in Ibogaine therapy are showing miraculous results in treating and cessation of what is one of the biggest problems for many modern society's around the world. Drug and Alcohol addiction.

yes but its not about the lsd its about peoples ability to progress appropriately as a society and understand that we are able to use things that can be dangerous safely if we handle it correctly. i think lsd is just a medicine im not gonna go gung ho proclaiming it to be our one and only salvation though i can see why someone who has used it would think of it this way, but I think once we realize that we need to accept that it needs to be treated like a medicine and not a drug so that i can be used like a medicine more often than it is used as a drug, we will be closer to some sort of "salvation"
