Is it wrong to emphasize how much smarter you are than others?

I think if you do that you are mentally unstable. Not in a bad way.

One of my old friends used to do that. She was like a A+ student, pretty, good family.. I dunno what happened.

 

I'm pretty sure when a post gets up to this many posts the only one who reads them all is the thread starter.

Is it true back in 2005 the aircraft mechanics school was transferred from Sheppard Air Force Base in TX to Kessler AFB in Mississippi?

i think that sections went to kessler and the rest remainded at sheppard. like the f-15 schools and most of the other fighter jets went to kessler...or maybe it was the cargo jets that went to kessler.

im not too sure but i did hear something similar.

That makes perfect sense. You wont call somebody stupid to their face, but if you feel they are not as bright as you, you will then begin to speak to them in such a manner as to be condescending and churlish, right?

I can sort of agree with this sentiment, but for the most part I find intelligence to be fairly easily measured. I also distinguish between intelligence, aptitude, and talent/skill. I also don't believe intelligence to be something you find in a book, if that helps to clarify.

Now you're getting into blame reversal which opens up some other windows. If you ask me, Freud, you're better off not getting any deeper.....

I don't think you keep it to yourself at all. Every chance you get you bring up how people feel like you are arrogant about your intelligence. Then you talk about how you are WAY smarter than them but don't know what their f'n problem is because you don't flaunt that you're smarter than them. They're just so impressed by your mental prowess that it brings awareness to their obvious ignorance, right?

And it only shows during an argument because typically, some poor dumbass has to be losing the argument since he wasn't smart enough to know he was pwned in the first place.

Adam, I am almost 100% sure that you've pretty much based most of this information on a few posts of mine that stood at to you as particularly noticeable, and communicated to you some sort of horrible and easily exploitable defect in my personality, and thus a marvelous opportunity is presented to you to preach, degrade and flaunt your own mental prowess. You give further justification to your own attacks by using outrageous statements such as "Every chance you get you bring up how people feel like you are arrogant about your intelligence", whereas in reality I have only ever posted one thread about this, regarding my family only. For the most part, I don't actually care to whether people are made uncomfortable by my arrogance, for I am much like you, therefore it is rarely worth mentioning.

These are things you do. I know that you do them and so does everybody else. I have a feeling that you know it also. I have no beef with it, its mostly hilarious and I do it too. This thread is evidence of that. My only real concern is that you honestly believe that your evaluation of me as a purely arrogant and over-intellectual fuck is actually accurate, because like I have said before, I can guarantee that you will find few, if any instances in which I've directly exerted on others any idea that I am more intelligent than they are. I could be wrong, but I certainly try never to debate using "I am right, you are wrong, I am smart, you are dumb" sentiments, but by using facts and wit, with a touch of smarminess. For the most part, the forumers that think otherwise tend to be the ones that don't actually read my posts, but rather react to them and fill in the gaps where they don't understand something by trying to guess at my true motives, which is about as useful as trying to guess at the meaning of life.
