Is it ok for children to view child porn?

I remember hearing somewhere that way back when the human life expectancy was maybe 30-40 years old like caveman days or even in the middle ages people would have kids in their early teens, as a matter of survival. People who were still single by 20 or so basically would never reproduce, and were likely to die soon from one of many diseases or getting eaten by wild animals.

Having said that, to the topic of child porn I think it is very very wrong for adults to make pics or videos of young children, but if 2 consenting minors want to take dirty pictures of each other then they should be able to do so, same as if they want to sleep together.

Maybe some will not agree but I first looked at porn when I was maybe 14 or so, around the time most of my friends and classmates (guys) were doing the same, and some already were sexually active by then... Actually one of my buddies at the time had dirty pictures of his friends ex girlfriend oslt... some girl that went to our school that let him take pics when they were together I guess, and then the pictures ended up getting forwarded all over the school I think... IMO it's not cool to send pictures of your ex all over a high school, but if the (ex)boyfriend kept them for himself I wouldn't see a problem, keep in mind they were both the same age, about 14-15.

I got in huge trouble once for taking polaroids of myself. there was a big investigation and everything. it was fuckin stupid i bet that fucked me up even more than if some prevert would have just snapped the shots

 

Kids are always going to find Daddy's stash and look at porn. When I was a kid we all knew who's dads had porn. It is natural to be curious and none of us are screwed up from seeing it.

BUT

We also knew that us kids weren't supposed to be looking at it. If an adult had given it to us and looked at it with us, that would have just been creepy. It was ok in our minds if we explored on our own, but it would be like getting molested if an adult interfered.

I'm gonna say that your cousin had something wrong with her head. How did she turn out as an adult? No one is suggesting she should be arrested for that, but she should definitely have had some counseling since she obviously had no clue that it was wrong to exploit herself.

Kids who do things like that have usually been sexually abused.

EDIT: forgot to comment on the op...child porn should not exist. Just because we are born with genitalia does not mean it is for the sexual gratification of others...

 

I am amazed at the amount of people fear that kids are going to be scarred by seeing nudity. Those are usually the same parents who don't want kids to see naked butts, but have no problem with their kids watching violence.

My kids don't watch porn nor do they watch bloody violence, but they will when they discover it one day and nothing can stop that. Not me. Not you. No law on the book. No fascist despot. It is natural and it will happen.

Sooner or later they will be introduced to sex. Usually by a peer. Because parents are too chickenshit and paranoid to teach them. And because our laws are so fucking stupid that if a parent attempted to teach them they may risk being accused of a crime.

I teach my kids the truth. Not that the "stork" brought them.

I will teach them about sex and protection when they ask and not attempt to shelter them from everything. That's impossible and asinine.

Tell your kids the truth or they will never trust you in important matters!!

First of all a pedophile and a child molestor are two seperate things.

A pedophile is someone who is sexually aroused by children. Can they help that?

A molestor is someone who performs sexual acts with children. This is an action, not a desire.

Secondly, the majority of molestors are not pedophiles (by definition).

Thirdly, pedophiles need counselling and for someone to help them cope with their problem.

Molestors need to be quarantined from society because they are a geniune threat.

Guilt is determined by the courts, it has nothing to do with the feelings a person has. A pedophile isn't GUILTY of anything, unless they ACT upon that feeling.

YES, there does need to be some understanding of the roots of these problems rather than a continuation of trimming the branches every time.

IIRC, a pedo IS someone who has acted on it. Otherwise they wouldn't be in question. I haven't even got kids but know it is fucked up. I'm disturbed at the fact that low lifes prey on children.
