oh i get it pronounced like doe-ja i see and i wasnt teaching about weed i thought i was explaining new slang missunderstanding never hear that word around here
nice grow journal maniac my mouth is watering from seedling, to flowering, to harvest, to finished product. you even show the moms that the clones came from. how does that work? i never hear that word douja here either, nor have i heard dour though
lol, that's quite the broad question, "how does that work?"..........it works probably just like you think it does........i know your a smart guy so it is probably pretty easy for you to wrap your mind around.........you just get lucky enough to meet people that have killer clone only strains..............you grow them out into moms.............take clones from said moms..........flower those out...........harvest...........trim.............dry.................cure...........repeat, lol............ that's a total gist-of-it but im sure you'll understand. - 42o - EDIT: and thanks for the props............it's been awhile since that grow but it's nice to see people recognize it was a decent one..........all things considered..............10 plants, 2ft x 4ft footprint flowering room, 400W HPS, soil, 12+ oz dry and cured...........not too shabby if i do say so myself
i was asking about the cloning part specifically. like how do you actually "take a clone from the mom?"
i see, well your mother plant has been topped and trained so she has a ton of branches............when looking for a clone your looking for the wimpy, bendy stems not the the woody type ones........once you find your branch you want to take around 4 inches of it......trim off a few lower leaves on that branch (thats where your roots will come out), dip it in water, dip it in rooting solution, then put it into your substrate......i use rapid rooters, alot of people use rockwool............then put that into a humidity dome, keep your temps around 80F and anywhere from 7-14 days and you'll have roots!...........hope that made some kinda sense lol....
yup it made sense. to someone with NO knowledge about growing. so the point of that is - the clone is gonna have the same genetics as the mom, and be female?
glad it made sense...........and yes the clone will be an identical copy of the mother age and all.........that's another reason people use clones instead of sprouting seeds, your clone will grow much faster than a plant from seed
being human, sharing the same air, water and food, the single planet we all live on, the fact that we are all born, live and die, all have red blood running through our veins. Yeah, common ground, its too bad we have to wait for weed for it to exist...
wow.. you are quick to assume.. i wasn't implying that it would be our only common ground or that it's necessary to bring us together.. for many people it DOES takes the superficial things in life to bring them closer to one another. i'm all about "we are one" and i was just trying to say it's not a bad thing if mj gives people common ground who didn't think they had common ground before
My mistake... My assumption was based on the words you used... Not give us more of a common ground, or give us more in common... but 'gives us all A common ground' silly of me to read the words you wrote...
don't start apologizing... it'll ruin everything... I wasn't dissin you or making assumptions about you. The comment was a tongue in cheek response to the very common idea that we as humans need some form of connection beyond what we have with zero effort. People are constantly talking about finding connections, yet are constantly putting up barriers... he's black, that person is a jew, that person worships allah, that person has red hair, this person doesnt like my favorite band... and so on... we're all human, (although I will admit, that is one huge assed assumption on my part), why do we need anything more then that, if it was truly our intent to find connections??
