Is it just me or...?

I'd have to disagree with you on that one. In the world where I live, money = power = control (my observation)

 

Money is just useless paper that we put value into to make trading easy. Money gets you power because hell it makes the world spin (metaphorically). But cmon just think about yes this source has a shit ton of money but will it lead us to it? No. It will lead you to a money making machine LOL nah but it just lead you the richest dude alive wich is some mexican dude that owns all phone lines in mexico (no joke thats the richest dude alive). But power yes that will lead us to 'the source'.
