Seeing as the Prez is the self-described absolute perfect physical specimen, why isn't McDonald's the sole supplier of food to American students K thru grade 16 ?

So now he will tout himself as the great stock market savior, even though he caused the crash.

You must have very low standards as to what makes America great.

The U.S auto industry was done in by management, not unions.

The major impetus for the quality of foreign cars was due to an American, Edwards Deming.
Demings taught statistical control to Japanese automakers starting in 1947. The U.S. auto execs weren't interested.
Ford was the first U.S. company to follow his advice and that wasn't until the 80s.

By the way I have two Chryslers, a 200 with over 150,000 miles on it and the only maintenance I have performed is a battery, brakes, and oil changes...and a throttle body that cost about $20.00 at Rock Auto and took less than half an hour to install. (Knock on wood)
    Love that car.

..and a 2020 Pacifica Van that I also love except for all the stupid electronic doodads.

    Correct.
Imv, they didn't respond to the new competition from Europe and Asia. Did they believe they were superior?! Did they think bigger was better?! If either; they were wrong.

Imv, that's what's wrong with a chunk of America: they believe they are somehow better than everyone else. Some even think the world should be the same as US.

Simply delusional. Much of Europe and Asia is educated to a much higher level. Inter-personal skills in business across different cultures and countries is great too so business works well between countries. (Some US companies that trade globally have learned that).

One glaring thing I don't hear or read is people admitting US isn't the biggest economy. It's not. The states of Europe account for a customer base of over 500m whereas the US is about 350m.

I have wondered recently whether much of MAGA is about isolationism, battening down the hatches and pretending the rest of the world doesn't exist. That won't work out well. The intelligent and educated will see the US decline soonest and, I expect will form a brain drain, relocating to other countries.

I wonder what will be left of the US and will it be what MAGA want?

Mr Comey enjoys an over-generous government pension, and taking risks like this propaganda. ?

Got called on the carpet real quick.

Still remembering his late campagain television appearances in support of Hillary way back when.

The stench was so bad it may have flipped the election.

In support of Hillary? False memory syndrome??? Comey's eve-of-election letter reopening investigations of her emails is widely credited with contributing to her defeat!

The Comey Letter Probably Cost Clinton The Election
Opinion | Four years ago today, Comey shocked America. His wife tried to stop him.

If he made campaign appearances on behalf of Hillary, musta been in disguise! Or were you just being sarcastic?

I was lucky to go to America for three months in 2008. I met so many wonderful people, some of whom I am still friends with. While I was there, I was made to feel welcome by the majority of people I met. I found the majority to be friendly, respectful, kind, and sincere. I was expecting it to be different. In 2018, I went back to visit for the summer. The change in people's attitudes towards non-Americans shocked me. I can't say that my experiences at that time are typical of people who visit Trump's America. It would seem political that truth no longer matters and that people have fallen for slogans and lies, and I find that sad. How can America now be great when, politically and internationally, it is isolating itself and putting the world in chaos? It continues to support genocide and human rights violations and has ignored the climate crisis. It isn't great. But I hope people will rise and use their power for change. I feel that if people turned the media off and left social media, the situation would be better. Who knows? This is my opinion; I can't say with certainty that America is or isn't great. I can only give my opinion as an outsider.

Some of us long time residents wonder too…..isolationism, ignorance and hate never work. Wonder of Americans are smart enough to handle social media.

Is it actually a "mistake" or do you do it on purpose?

Did this actually happen to you? Most of the people that I have met are usually pretty forgiving about honest mistakes unless of course it is a repeated mistake with no obvious effort to correct it and no remorse either.

I remember when I started transitioning years ago and was in that awkward "in between" stage, anyone who accidentally misgendered me also apologized and corrected themselves with no prompting from me.

No death threats from me either.
